What we want in our next dog! Please advise

I cannot help but feel guilty for all of the dogs that do not have homes. We look at petfinder.com and want to adopt everyone. We have a Cardigan Welsh Corgi and a Corgi mix that we love very much. They are our lives and they make getting up in the morning less of a chore (except when it is raining, which it is right now).

With my first dog I had a baby book for her (don't laugh) because she grew up so fast. I was having a lot of fun and it looked weird but it was a blast. My older sister saw it after and said 1. I should take up scrapbooking and 2. I need to learn to do it correctly.

Ok, so last time I typed, Morgan had dined on 3 of my shoes and my cell phone charger. We have since puppy proofed the room more, and crated him more too.

Morgan was playing in the yard with his sister Miranda and my other family members dogs. My sister has a black lab and my Dad has a yellow lab. The labs are going nuts for this ball until one of them breaks it open and they move onto the other one. Well Morgan, having discovered a love for my shoes, decides to chew something else. So he eats the inside parts of the ball, the rubber parts. I catch him and take away the ball but the damage is done. He continues to play with the others in between… Continue

- In So. CA you get no relief from the weather. You can't blame your moods, behavior, on the weather. Take your time. I'm awful with videos/photos. Instead of using my better camera/camcorder, I use my iPhone and Flipcam.
But check out Lucy and the Corgis before her, only if you have the stomach for AWWful videos, & pix. Look forward to your postings. I've had Corgis my whole life and am trying to post photos and a brief bio on all of my best friends that are gone.I think Corgis Remembered Group on MyCorgi.com has been my baby album for all my babies. I've done 2 but it is wonderful but a bit hard. 4 more Corgis to go, but have a look at our princess, Lucy. I love your photos. Morgan is the most beautiful Corgi mix I've ever seen. - Glad we're "friends." Had lots of comments but I forgot them. If I only had a brain! I just loved the idea of a baby album for your Corgis. I've been trying to dig out photos of all my Corgis over the years. Many of them were before digital cameras & I've scanned a few and posted them with some stories on the Corgis Remembered Group. Anyhow, nice to meet another owner who is ga-ga over their dogs.

Christen & Bentley said… - He is doing ok, thanks for asking. He is scheduled for his heartworm treatment on May 19. He is on 3 medications right now for the dermititis/fengal infection & the Upper respitarory infection. He gets along ok with my beagle/basset mix but wants to tear y cat apart, its kinda of scary. He is not house broken so I am trying to figure out the best way to house break an 8 yr old dog. When we go outside if he hears another dog he starts to leave the yard to go find them. But I am happy to have him in my life!!!!!

Molly Przybelinski said… - Sad to say, she is a pet store puppy. She's my first puppy so I didn't know how bad petstore puppies could be, but she's turned out to be the best thing in my life. I have no regrets on adopting her and I'm happy to have gotten her out of that environment. She's just amazing! We have another Pembroke on the way around Christmas time, and that puppy is from a breeder :-) I did my homework!
