I remember seeing truncation of the lower canine at an early age, thought he'd broken off the tip.

Now, it looks more like gradual wear.  It's not nearly as bad on the other side.

Catching tennis balls in midair?  He expertly catches high fly balls.  PLAP!  We've called him Ichiro.  But the balls are filled with fine dirt.  Has he sanded off the tips of his canines with dirty tennis balls?

Or gnawing on bones?

He also kicks a soccer ball airborne with the tip of his snout, but I don't think he uses his teeth on it.

We're not so good on the oral hygiene either, looks like.

Yes my Sparty is a hard gnawer! He actually broke teeth on the Nylabones. His teeth are pretty worn down but now that he is elderly it looks normal. It sure doesn't slow down his eating though!
