Hopefully I will be picking out in person, or at least making a trip down to my breeder before the big day comes to take the sucker home.

My breeder's been very good helping me with the distance (she's about 200 miles away) so I have a good understanding as far as their personalities are concerned... which is the most important part!

How exciting! Are you picking them out in person or just from the pictures? I had the pick of the litter, too (good timing), and I picked Stella from her reaction to me when I held her and from how spunky and mischievious she was.

Hi everyone! I'm new here! And why, might you ask? Because I'm bringing home a little guy in a few weeks and couldn't be more excited.

I haven't quite picked out the little boy yet but here are the boys in the littler at almost 3 weeks and I'm taking first pick at the sables! They were born 10/24/09 and I should be selecting by the end of the month.

:) Yayyy puppies

Paisley is doing wonderful!! We only ended up giving her one full day of pain meds, because she was just too comfortable and kept being her normal wild and crazy self. She really only seems sore when she is going potties. Otherwise, she is doing great. I made a little t-shirt for her though, because while she listened to me about not licking her stitches she kept trying to scratch them with her back leg. I will have to put a pic up of her in it! She looked so silly!

Enzo came home like nothing happened. He is his normal crazy self. I thought the first day at least he would be extremely sleepy. The vet said he might not eat the first day. Not Enzo he ate and was on his normal schedule from the moment he got home. But we hope the nice weather holds up for a bit longer since we can't take him to the beach yet.

Edward sailed thru his neuter. One week post op and he is back to his old shenanigans. It goes much smoother for the males. Our Gem seemed a lot more uncomfortable when she was spayed and recovery took a little longer.

We actually just dropped Enzo (6 months on Thursday) off to be neutered this morning. The house is really quiet without him now. Missing the little guy and can't wait to pick him up tomorrow. For now we will take advantage and go out for the night.

I didn't really know what to expect either, so I searched this site a bit and found a great little blog about her puppy's spay by member Gogorainbow. I will try to find it again and put up a link! It was really helpful!
