New York City Corgis

This is for Corgis members in NYC and people that want to visit NYC one day. I know that there is a group with NY state and that's great but if I want to meet with corgis in NYC, I thought that we could make it happen here.

This rocks! Thanks so much. I think it'll be a great resource.

Also, I apologize, I didn't realize that members can create discussions up top. >_/p>

I hope everyone is bundled up today!

You spoke Chewie and here is what you requested for?

It's great that you have a green blog! Those speakers are so cool. Chewie's helping us at the moment--she's doing a great job recycling cardboard that she finds in the apt. >_/p>

It's a riot to see Chewie's pic as the group img. Time to start sending in a ton more pics!

Also, there was a small thread on mycorgi which touched upon pet facilities and general NYC pet handling. Sam had some great answers to Andrew's questions. Can there be a discussion where we can post useful NYC pet info? I think it'd be nice to have this info easily accessible. :D

Also, if a member of the group makes it to the corgi pic of the day, please post it here and I will make it our group page :-)

I know that our dogs only care about the food that goes into the garbage but I made a blog post about recycling for us in NYC.

Those places look great! Ah, the east village--used to live there about 8 yrs ago. Love LES, too (donut plant, drool...) In anycase, we used to eat out about twice a week prior to Chewie. Now that we're settled in with her, I'm trying to figure out how to enjoy the city and bring her along with me.

I did a super quick search and found this list:

If I find anything worth noting, I will let you guys know. Did your pups go through obedience training? If so, where? Doing a little research and finding places that are charging like $350 which seems a bit high... but maybe that's the norm.

In the east village I know a great dog friendly bar called Drop Off Service.  Also, once it is nice out pretty much any cafe with outdoor seating allows the dogs.  My dogs prefer Cafe Mogador for brunch

I'll take a pic of restaurants here that allow dogs to sit at the window and ones that allow outdoor seating in the spring
