Reminder - meetup this Saturday at Shoreline Dog Park in Mountain View (10 a.m., small dog side)!

Crystal and Frodo and I will be there! Since Ms. Crystal has been proving to be a bit of a pain, I've been having discussions with her on watching ME and coming when called, rather than running off and trying to herd and nip running corgis. (For some reason they don't seem to like that!!) Therefore, if anyone sees her being bratty, please let me know asap so I can snag her and put her on-leash. I may keep her on-leash part of the time anyway and work on her 'come' and 'watch me' and reward her for NOT getting so excited! Hopefully this will avoid some of the incidents last time.

Yes, for those who didn't realize, CRYSTAL was the one who started two incidents last time by nipping corgis who were running and who didn't appreciate that - both times they escalated into general angry chaos while I pulled adorable Ms. Crystal away, who looked innocent. Brat. Although others helped, she was the actual cause, so blame Crystal! However, if possible, I'd rather work on it with her at this level so long as she doesn't actually cause trouble, so she can learn a bit more self-control! I will keep her leashed if she refuses to listen, though.

Frodo will of course skulk around and look worried. :)

Hi friends!

We are fast approaching Jackson's (and my own) last two weeks in the Bay Area! To celebrate, we are going to as many meetups as we can.
See you at Mountain Lake Park today - 1 PM

We're also going to try to make the trek to Mountain View for the meetup next Saturday.

I saw a listing on Craigslist that some of you may be interested in. I hate seeing ads on Craigslist for Corgis..it worries me that may not go to a good home.

There will be a corgi meetup (pems, cardis, mixes, and non-corgi siblings all invited) at the Shoreline Dog Park in Mountain View, CA on June 19th, from 10 a.m. to about 11:30 or 12 (if it gets too hot, some people bug out early). We meet on the small dog side. This is our monthly meetup, on the 3rd Saturday. See you there!

Hi everyone!

Don't forget the San Francisco meetup is at 1:00 PM tomorrow (Saturday) in Mountain Lake Park! Entrance is at Lake Street and 8th.

Jackson is VERY excited and this will be our second to last meetup in the SF area. We are moving to Southern California in August :(

Don't forgot, the Wine County Corgis will be holding a corgi swim party on June 13th. Frodo and Crystal and I are planning on being there! It will be in the Russian River area, so an hour or two from the bay area depending on where you are coming from. For more details, go to www.winecountrycorgis.com and email them for directions.
