If anyone is interested in getting this dog litter pan, please let me know. My dog never used it (except to sleep in it), but if you work long hours & live in apartment, it should work very well. Good size for Corgis. The price is totally negotiable!

You might want to read through here too and see why some people rejected specific breeders, even if they are not regional; sometimes the really experienced people post and it's very very interesting.... http://mycorgi.com/forum/categories/breeders-review/listForCategory

Do you mean pembrokes or cardigans? Remember there are two types of corgis, as an owner of the 'other' type ;) I do know of a cardigan breeder in Ukiah if you are looking for a cardi.

Don't use the catch-all 'are they any corgi breeders' because I'm sure you can find a 'breeder'. You want to find a GOOD breeder who is not just breeding their boy and girl corgi together for the heck of it, but who is carefully making sure that the corgis are healthy. There are many good articles about finding good, appropriate breeders. Be VERY careful since corgis are a big puppymill and backyard breeder dog!!!

You might want to join the corgi-l mailing list (www.corgi-l.org) and ask there; it's nationwide, but they are an excellent source in terms of what to look for and who to go to, and there are most certainly some local people on there. Also, you may want to join the sfcorgi list as well; http://groups.yahoo.com and search for 'sfcorgi'.

Hope this helps!

Hi, all! Don't forget the corgi meetup this Saturday in Mountain View at the Shoreline Dog Park! We meet at 10 a.m. in the small dog section!

I, however, will NOT be there. I will be at Bark in the Park in San Jose (www.barksanjose.org for anyone interested). I will be working a Furry Friends Pet Assisted Therapy Services booth, both Frodo and I, from the time it opens (10) until close at 5. So, if you are bored, stop by Bark in the Park after the meetup! Parking is a real pain, but it's a fun event, including herding demos, flyball, and rally demos. Plus lots of neat stuff for the dogs!

Not I, since I have a cardi and not a pem :) I will also not be at the south bay meetup on 9/19, as I will be at Bark in the Park in San Jose (www.barksanjose.org), a very fun event! If any corgis come by, stop by the Furry Friends Pet Assisted Therapy Services booth and meet both me and my cardi Frodo!

I did it a while ago with my cardi - I believe it's a one-on-one, the dog and you and the instructor/tester and the sheep. It's not a competition except in the sense that of course everyone wants their dog to do well. Each handler/dog goes in separately. :) It's something done prior to taking herding classes or getting involved in competition. Hope that helps!
