Just reminding everyone that tomorrow is the 5th Saturday, so we'll be at the Shoreline Dog Park in Mountain View, small dog side, at 10 a.m. this Saturday!

I, personally, may or may not show - I had a very busy week, and have a migraine today, so if I don't show then you know I slept in. And Frodo is probably nudging me trying to get me up to go see all his corgi pals!!

Bella is vacationing this week so we will not make it to Shoreline this time. Bella sends her love to all her friends.

Just reminding everyone that it is the 3rd Saturday, so we'll be at the Shoreline Dog Park in Mountain View, small dog side, at 10 a.m. this Saturday! I'll be there with Frodo the Cardigan Welsh Corgi AND Crystal the Cardigan Welsh Corgi (but she will be in and out since she gets a bit over-excited)!  :)  Hope to see you there!

I hope to meet up with you guys sometime.

We get up to SF pretty often...so sometime, before the summer's over, we'll do it!

Pine Lake Park in Stern Grove (address below!) will be the new meetup address for the San Francisco (and other traveling) corgis!!  2nd Saturday at 1.

I never attend because I have a standing assignment on the 2nd Saturday at 1:30 to visit a nursing home with my therapy animals (cat, and now Crystal the corgi). Some of you come down to Mountain View some weekend too!  :)  I can do the 3rd Saturday easily.....

Bailey and I have been attending the corgi meetup since Bailey was 4 months of age. We love our 2nd saturdays of each month. However, we've been talking to a few furkid parents and we feel it could be SAFER and FUNNER for all dogs that show up.

We would like to propose a change in the San Francisco meetup location. Same time (2nd saturdays at 1pm), just a change inthe location:

FROM: MOUNTAIN LAKE PARK
PRESIDIO 8TH AND LAKE STREETS

TO: PINE LAKE PARK (IN STERN GROVE)
VALE AVE & CRESTLAKE DRIVE, SAN FRANCISCO

WHY?
1. It's safer!!:

Pine Lake Park is situated down and away from traffic. Unlike Mountain Lake Park
It is much bigger and is GRASS as opposed to wood chips/bark. The last two times Bailey has gone to the meetup, he has had a slight limp from the uneven and rocky ground.

2. It's better!!!:

There is plenty of parking (a dedicated parking lot!).
There is a lot more space! More space and space, and space!

Since our meetups are on saturdays, the summer festivals in stern grove (on sundays) will not be an interference.

What do you think about this change? We are hoping to get the word out and possibly have our monthly meetup (which is this saturday the 9th) held at the new location! We will be at the new location this saturday.

See you there!

Congratuation on joining Dog Scouts! I'm usally at HSSV daily either volunteering or taking Bella to the park. I don't be there on Thursday because I have a graduation to go but have fun and maybe I'll see you next month or at one of our meet ups!
