Hi, Nicki,

I just saw your comment. Yes, girls definitely TEND to be snippier - remember the commotion Crystal has tried to cause at the meetups?  :)  And I've seen others there too that can get a bit, well, snippy. But each dog is an individual. Still, I think it's better to mix the genders. Worked out just splendid with my two!!!

Our breeder (Tim Mathiesen) just e-mailed me and said that it's too bad that I'm" not in the mood for a female puppy", since he has one that's adorable, with a great personality. He knows that my husband and I have been hoping for a little brother for our Lily Rose ( 14 months), whom we also got from Tim last January. He was expecting 3 litters this November, but two of the females missed, and the third had only one puppy, a little girl. So, I'm confused right now, because I've always been told that two females wouldn't get along, since female Corgis are always alphas. I'd appreciate any feedback that you fellow Corgi folks could give me on this. I don't want to have two females if there is a good chance that they won't be happy together. Thanks.

Yes, there is still plans for a meetup tomorrow morning at the Shoreline Dog Park in Mountain View at 10 a.m. (small dog side). Depending on weather, though, attendance may be near nil. Decide on your own if you want to go or not - I won't go if it's raining hard. And it's hard for me to know what the weather is like up there since I'm in very south San Jose. Still, we are planning on it tentatively! After all, last time I didn't go because of the rain, it was actually okay all the way up there....

We're in San Jose, but Frodo came from a breeder in Ukiah  :)

Are there any Corgi parents near Ukiah?

Is there a corgi meet tomorrow at the shoreline dog park?

I will be at the Corgi faire! My pups never get to be around other corgis so it should be great fun. I am in the East Bay and the meet ups you all have are just too far for me. This will be a giant corgi play date!
