I didn't feel the one this morning, I was standing in my bosses office, but I heard it. My husband said that Corie barked and growled at that one too, then went back to sleep...

I was at work .. but a bit ago we had another small one (this morning) and neither the corgi, nor the cats, reacted at all. Hmf. My animals aren't very good at that. :)

Did you feel the earth quake on Thursday? Corie barked and growled, guess she knew we were going to have one? I have heard that animals can tell. Did your Corgi's do anything?

This is our first Corgi, and I have to agree.. she is very jealous of other dogs around us. I do not know if she would ever accept another dog into our house. She won't even let the cat near us!

Hi Trang, Welcome. From my experience (I have 3 Corgi's) they are definately more into people than other dogs. 2 of mine are mom and daughter so they get along but I would think twice before getting a "playmate" for a lone Corgi. They just love their people!

Sorry, I meant to say 9 months. The reason I joined mycorgi.com is that I have a lot of questions that you guys may answer for me. Yoshi is my first dog ever and she's been great. However, it seems like she has trouble getting along with other dogs right away. She's a little aggressive at first and barks at people or other dogs as soon as she sees them, and then slowly warms up to other dogs. Is that normal? Will she eventually grow out of this aggression? All comments are welcome!

Don't forget, this Saturday (the 19th) is the 3rd Saturday, so is the monthly meetup at Shoreline Dog Park in Mountain View! 10 a.m., small dog side!

We are having a Secret Santa exchange! If you'd like to participate, please bring an inexpensive doggie gift to exchange, like a bag of treats or a toy, or such. Although it's always more fun with more people exchanging, it's not required. Those who bring a gift can take one away.

[I personally will be out of town, but know that others will be attending! Have fun on behalf of Frodo and I!]
