Fandom is a term used to refer to a subculture composed of fans characterized by a feeling of sympathy and camaraderie with others who share a common interest... Members of a fandom associate with one another, often attending fan conventions (such as science fiction conventions), and publishing and exchanging fanzines... The term is sometimes associated with anime/manga; serious fans of this subject are also called otaku. A person with a devotion to something in a way that places him or her outside the mainstream (Geek).

We just beat Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess for the Wii a couple days ago. I've always loved the Zelda series (especially the 3D ones) and this was the first time my husband played it, and we both enjoyed it a lot. We also love RPGs like Final Fantasy, Suikoden, Chrono Trigger!!, etc. Oh and we love manga and anime too... So.. definitely geeky.. in a good way!

He plays L4D on PC through Steam and is also looking forward to the software release so fans can create their own maps. I think the announcement was "spring release", so I'm not sure exactly when it's going to be. Anyway, our gaming setup works for us, he gets the PC, I get the 360! I'm a Burnout Paradise fanatic, so give me a shout if you play. I'm feeling very at home here :)

Yay! :) And if you're a pc player you get all the fun valve treats. I'm so excited! I gotta touch up on those maps so I can kick some ass when they come out on versus. If anyone wants to play some campaign online holla at me!

Some other group games that we play are Donky Konga and Mario Kart. I still have not got my hands on rockband yet, someday I may unleash my inner rockstar :)

Not my favorite, but it is a good diversion. I'm more hooked on my DS. I play SimCity, BrainAge, and Nintendogs with the Corgi. We are gaming geeks, having a 360, PS3, and Wii plus the old school systems.

BTW, purple hair rules. I've been contemplating dying Trunks purple, so he matches his namesake!
