Fandom is a term used to refer to a subculture composed of fans characterized by a feeling of sympathy and camaraderie with others who share a common interest... Members of a fandom associate with one another, often attending fan conventions (such as science fiction conventions), and publishing and exchanging fanzines... The term is sometimes associated with anime/manga; serious fans of this subject are also called otaku. A person with a devotion to something in a way that places him or her outside the mainstream (Geek).

Comment by Sam Tsang on February 22, 2009 at 7:33pm: Okay guys, I'm a geek :) I enjoy old school mecha anime, the original Macross , gen 1 transformers...etc. Loved Dr Slump, Dragon Ball, Z but not GT. Castle in the sky, Nausicaa. I love old school side scrolling beat them up games like double dragon, contra, final fight, streets of rage, old planes games like R-type, 1943, raiden. Some of the "newer" games that I enjoy are Final Fantasy 7, X, Halo 1,2 and 3, the entire Metal Gear Solid series. I still own a commodore 64, yes the one with the tape drive :)

I'm all for challenging games, but when those tentacles with spikes at the end started popping out of people's heads and killing me from yards away, all while I have to keep a useless girl safe, I just couldn't take trying anything 10+ times.

I just kicked the wow habit before wotlk. I'm currently playing animal crossing (woowoo) and alot of L4D. Toki loves watching / jumping in my lap while I try to melee zombie scum. If anyone wants to play some xbox live my tag is CaptMuffins. I ike alot of anime, as most it seems, I saw my first corgi in Cowboy Bebop, greatest anime ever. I can't wait to meet some new friends!
RE5 looks cool, I played the demo and freaked out and never played it again lol I don't like scary fast pitchfork wielding zombies
