Fandom is a term used to refer to a subculture composed of fans characterized by a feeling of sympathy and camaraderie with others who share a common interest... Members of a fandom associate with one another, often attending fan conventions (such as science fiction conventions), and publishing and exchanging fanzines... The term is sometimes associated with anime/manga; serious fans of this subject are also called otaku. A person with a devotion to something in a way that places him or her outside the mainstream (Geek).

Did they let you take him into the con, or did you guys just hang out and enjoy the excitement from outside?

Oh it's taken me a while to post this picture! This summer we took a road trip down to Anaheim for Blizzcon. Needless to say we had a blast and Ashton even got into the con groove by wearing his epic, or I should say LEGENDARY, cosplay costume. He cosplayed as a legendary non-combat pet corgi. I just made him a little bandana that said [Corgi] in orange letters. Needless to say he was super popular, but what else would we expect from a corgi right! LOL

For anyone who hasn't seen Zombieland, go see it. It was even better than I thought it would be. I already want to see it a second time. Very funny with a touch of seriousness. Jesse Eisenberg and Woody Harrelson are awesome!

I just watched Coraline. It was a fun movie. They strayed from the book quite a bit but it was still a good movie.

Oh heck yes! What an awesome group! I had a feeling I wouldn't be the only geeky corgi owner out there... as someone who loves all things anime, gadget-y, internet, video games, sci-fi, fantasy, etc etc., I feel as though I've come home. Hello all. :)

For all you "Eins" out there: I just finished rewatching the episode about the Teddy Bomber. Ein had two great moments in that. When the adults decided the Cowboy's stew was inedible, Ein's look was precious, like, don't speak for me, dudes. And a quick shot at the end, when Ed was making Ein play cowboy. Ed was the horse. The look of (not-so-)tolerant patience while riding by was priceless. This one is worth a second (or so) look.

Avatar rocks! Toki sometimes reminds of Momo because of how crafty yet goofy she is. I don't know whether to be excited about the new live action movie, first off... The Slumdog main character is playing Zuko... good or bad I dunno, he's a great actor but Zuko is Asian I'm pretty sure. And M. Night. Shama w/e is directing and writing it... What a twist!
