Sunny Garden Farm Corgis

I just wanted to wrangle up the people who got a corgi from the breeder I did in Oneida Il. Trying to see if anyone on here may have any of cooper's relatives!

well, i see you finally made it here. half the snow has melted. i can actually see the boys in the back yard now. poor joker was looking for all "his" snow. we have fog going on right now, but not real thick. i can still see the trees and jack spotted the squirrel in the tree next door.

Hi Melanie!!!   I just joined myself!!  Hope all your puppies are doing well.    It was a nice Christmas season with all the snow for the dogs to enjoy.

i don't know how she does it, but i think all 4-leggeds that pass thru sandy's recieve that extra special something. she is so good to her barking family. i think she does that with humans also. she really came thru for me when i was sick. i will never be able to repay her for all she did. i would trust her with any of my critters. take care.

I will have to join the other group too- thanks for the suggestion! Zilla will be 2 on February 1 next year. There were two other fluffies in her litter- both boys- and at least 3 or 4 other pups with regular coats. I don't recall her mom and dad's names- its all on my other laptop which is not working at the moment. I just remember her mom was a red tri-color and very petite. Miss Maysie Pants was from a Sunny Garden boy named Corky and a Sunny Garden girl named Nick Nack Nich. Nich wasn't thrilled with being a mommy, so Maysie and her sister were hand fed by Sandy. Zilla is a beautiful fluff with a great personality, but Maysie is that (but not fluffy:) and more- the "once in a lifetime dog" that some of us are blessed with. I think its partly because she received a little extra TLC at Sandy's at the beginning of her life- even more than the exceptional care she gives all her corgis.

hi melanie. welcome to this group. i'd like to suggest another group here and that is mycorgi/showfriends. you don't have to show to join and we have great discussions and other stuff there. who is your zilla out of? how old? i have joker who is out of barbie. his dad is my boy jack. i adore sandy's dogs. they are really great. there is another sandy dog that lives right down the street from me. take care and hope to see you over at show friends also.

I have two great corgis from Sunny Garden Farm. My first corgi from there is Maysie- only the best dog I have ever had- definitely my once in a lifetime dog! Two years ago we visited again and got Zilla, an adorable (and sassy) fluff who is so much fun. Sandy raises amazing and beautiful corgis! We also have one rescue corgi, Finnegan, and a German Shepherd, Ophelia who complete our family.

My Maggie is now 6 from SGF. I think she is the sweetest doggie I have ever owned. She loves everyone and everyone loves her. I am SO glad we got her from SGF. I would recommend her to anyone who wants a Corgi.

I live in extreme south central Missouri. There is not a single UKC conf. show in Missouri or Arkasnas. The closest to the east is Tennessee which is probably 4 or 5 hours and then West is Warren, OK which is just as far or furthure. Then there are the one's in Illinois but they are all so far north in the state. If they were in the southern part it would be much handier. I am going to an AKC show in about 3 weeks in Columbia, MO. Thats another thing, I can sort of my expenses paid for at AKC because my mom has French Bulldogs that are shown AKC and I can take hers with me and I can sometimes get some of my expenses covered by her plus she takes care of my critters for free while I am showing her dogs. But French Bulldogs don't get shown in UKC that much, not a real big venue for them like it is with the Pembrokes. I am a glutten for punishment, so I show AKC shows, haha.

sandy was at the last iabca shows at purenia farms late last year. she had joker with her. he was entered in puppy and bred-by. red/white boy with a wide blaze up heis face. that is my jack and sandy's barbie's boy. i believe earlier last year, she had the other boy, jinx at the iabca shows. they both walked away with a ton of those mediallions. i was raised akc and joker will be showen in akc, later this year. i am coming off a big health problem and sandy has kept joker with her and has been showing him. joker will be coming home to green bay in may. where do you live that you are so far from everything? here in wisconsin, we have mega more akc shows than ukc. but the judge selections have been so disgusting, i won't waste my money on most. but, there is a whole new crop of judges and so i guess we'll have to check them out.
