Thank you so much, Sandy! She is a corgi of yours from 8 years ago. I will definitely look up that site. I am going to do whatever it takes for her to get back moving again, even if it's the wheel chair. I KNOW she has more years left!!
So sorry to hear that Judy. It is so heartbreaking. There is a yahoo list called wheel chair corgis that might be able to help with your questions. Lots of folks on there who have experience, and are glad to help if they can.
Sandy
I am sad to report that my Maggie has a herniated disk and we cannot afford surgery, as it's $5K. We are trying crate rest and time. It is so sad to see her in the crate. Her front half is fine....she is perky, eating and chewing her bones. Otherwise, she just sits there. She is on 5 medications. I am heartbroken. Does anyone know where this surgery can be performed without it being $5000?

Hope to see all your Corgis!
Hi guys! I just wanted to let everyone here know (in case you aren't a member of Cheesehead Corgis), that there is a WI Corgi Picnic planned for Sept. 8, 1-5pm at the Jefferson County Dog Park Small Dog Area. I have posted the details on the front page of MyCorgi, so feel free to RSVP. We will have breeders and trainers on site as well as a Raffles For Rescues (ticket price is $1=1 ticket, $5=6 tickets). the price of admission is $5/dog which is paid to the Jefferson County Parks & Recs (there is a sign in and drop box as you enter). We also ask that you bring a dish to pass.
who are maggie's parents? these dogs are just so sweet. in my picture on the left, the middle one and the one on the right are from sandy's barbie and my boy jack, who is on the far left side.
Maggie is 6 years old, and from Sunny Garden. She is the best doggie we have ever had. Such a sweetheart! I would love to have another one......
So excited to find this group :) Just got our Penelope (Penny) from Sandy in June 2011. Her parents were Syri and Hogan. We couldn't have asked for a better dog! She has brought so much joy to our lives.
