I just looked up online natural killers for cabbage bugs and found tons of info...of coarse most want to sell you their product but you can find some ideas by digging through the differant sites! Good luck!

More questions! I just finished pulling up what was left of the lettuce and arugula in planters on the porch - cabbage worms ate everything but the stems!! Does anyone know of something other than diazanon to take care of them? Since Sonny eats arugula right out of the pot, I don't want to put anything toxic on the plants - at least we can wash the stuff, but still would rather not use toxic chemicals. My B-I-L says if I treat the soil now it will be OK for next year, but I would rather not. Thanks

can anyone recycle milk cartons? We have limited recycling, often I see it go right into the trash! (then I call them to report it, they must hate stay at home people) Question fotr you all: why can we not recycle container lids? I can recycle yogurt containers but not the lid! I cannot recycle glass either - I have to save it up and take it into town. Another question: must I wash off the foil? sometimes it is pretty awful! (I try to clean it off) I haven't asked my garbage co, they don't seem to answer the phone, even to take a payment.

GO GREEN TRIVIA!
Recycling Facts

*There is no limit to the times that aluminum can be recycled.
*If every american recycled just 1/10th of their newspapers, we would save 25,000,000 trees a year.
*Americans throw away 25,000,000,000 Strofoam coffee cups every year.
*A typical family consumes 182 gallons of soda,29 gallons of juice,104 gallons of milk and 26 gallons of bottled water a year. That's alot of containers...make sure they're recycled!

Isn't Shaklee a good cleaner also? We should check!

I use BioOx on everything! We bought it at some home show years ago. It is one of those cleaners that you diliute, fragrance free which is important for me with 3 lung diseases.

If you have a naturalfood section in your store...I would check that out and read the label. I have used the natural (phosphate free) laundry detergant on my carpet and it makes them very soft also and not all the nasty chemicals plus you can buy the fragrance free:)

My 2 thoughts would be Citrasolv ( an orange based multi pupose cleaner that I use on everything) it says you can use on carpets(I do in my home). DO BE CAREFUL...the stuff I have is from the natural food part as some orange cleaners from the other parts have "warnings" about inhaling the fumes...You could also read the Borax box and see if that might work.I have a problem with the fumes also and many body products make me break out!

I have a challenge, i promised my boyfriend that i would clean his back seat (corgi seats) Flatly we have been bringing muddy dogs home from the dog park, We had a blanket down but a bit soaked through. What is a enviro/dog friendly cleaner i can use on the seats/rug. Also got to be low fume/chemical because i have chemical sensitivity both touch and fume.

Yes, I have the recipe! I don't have time to put it on today but will try to get it on Wed! If I haven't please send me another request...it's very simple!
