Oh!

*laughing* Aw, thank you! I just have to laugh at this picture every time I see it. Poor Riley, he's like... "eep!" Of course, Blondie loves dogs and just wants to snuffle him, and she can't figure out why he won't come over to do that. At one point, her entire head was in the car and he was in the back seat, as far away from her as he could get.

Ah well, that's just how romance goes some times, I guess.

PS: Blondie got an A+++ from a local well known trainer and barn owner last weekend. My trainer borrowed her to give rides to a bunch of little girls from France. Apparently she was the hit of the whole thing, was a perfect angel, and didn't put a foot wrong and had a great time being loved on and ridden. The other trainer asked my trainer if she was for sale a whole lot of times. My trainer responded with, "Nope, there's not enough money in the world to get this horse from her people."

Which is totally true. Aww. Hee, thanks again, Katie! :D

The horse show was a success this past weekend, but unfortunately, I didn't get any pics of Em's. I was too busy to even have time to grab a camera. Emily is a professional horse show Corgi. She was such a good girl, made lots of new friends and was a great travelling companion. We stayed in a dive motel and I was so glad she was with me. She was on point all night. The young riders took her for many walks and wore her out. She had a blast, but was exhausted when we finally got home!

Thank you for the advice we are going to a show in Indiana at the end of Sept that I'm pretty excited about. Not sure if the corgies will be able to go but we'll see.

Mary- we take collapsible kennels to the shows and put them in the tack stalls. However, I haven't done it since I've gotten Tigger. Check out the portable crates at Walmart- they are nylon with mesh sides- they don't take up much room and are inexpensive and durable (unless your dog likes to flip them down the barn aisle!

Minis chasing corgis! That's funny!

We are not showing anymore--kids are grown. My oldest is out of the home and is trying to break into the horse racing industry--youngest is in college, but we still have a yard full of horses. The Corgis love to try to herd the horses, but the horses rarely cooperate unless they are in the mood for a game. Doesn't stop the Corgis from trying! The minis love to play chase with the dogs. More often than not, the dogs are the ones being chased out of the pen!

I would love to take mine to the shows but I'm so scared no one can watch them as good as I can and with my hands full I just don't trust my husband enough :P Ein got stepped on by a foal trying to herd it when he was little but still loves to chase them.

Molly loves her Dover Saddlery Fleece Dog Rug. It matches Red-rum!

6 members already! What is a horseshow without a Corgi?

I will try to get a pic. I will chase Joan down and jump in front of the Camera. Wish us luck!
