Guys, I am so sorry...I booked an event for next weekend. It's a big account or I wouldn't have done it :(
The raffle prizes will have to wait until 2012, we'll definitely meet up in January so put in your requests on dates now!
Corgi meet next saturday would be great!
Here is a link to the directions of where we "play": http://www.dogsneedajob.com/fac_directions.htm
I can't make next Saturday because Daisy and I will be in another agility trial. If any of you would like to come down and watch let me know. There is a large grassy area that we park in and the dogs can play but should stay on leash. The trails are from 8 AM until about 4:00 PM. It has been a lot of fun for us and I am hopelessly addicted! I really want to meet up with you guys and if anyone is up for the 17th or 18th we can make it. Christmas won't be the same without another dose of corgi love!!!
The same rescue in Sulphur also has a red/white 1y.o. male that gets along well with other dogs and does not have any personal issues.
Howdy, all. I'm a North Texas Corgi owner but I found a female red/white that is closer to your area than mine, so I'm posting this here. I hope I'm not stepping on any toes with this.
There is a very nice red/white female Pemmi with a rescue in Sulphur, LA. She's 1 year old but needs some TLC due to abuse she suffered when younger. She was kept in an outdoor run with a larger dog that kept stealing her food. Her foster says that she's food aggressive as a result. She's gets along well with dogs in general but will be very possessive if other dogs approach her person. She is otherwise very sweet and likes to be a lap dog.
If you know someone who wants a great Corgi, has no kids or other dogs, and is willing to work with this one-year old on overcoming her issues, let me know and I will send the contact info.
Sorry we missed you Erin!
