What do you guys think about maybe Bill Archer park? We've been looking for an excuse to go there...
I had a lot of fun last time at the Boneyard. Everyone was so nice!
A meet up at Boneyard sounds good or anything inside the loop would be good for us if people are interested?
Any plans on a get together this month?

There is a set of two corgis for adoption in Austin, if anyone knows anyone.
Both the dogs initially came from breeders but Fanny, the Cardigan, was a rescue from a military family where the husband had died in Afghanistan and the wife had too much on her plate with a baby and another on the way. The owner of them now, cannot find the papers for either dog because she never in a million years thought she'd have to give them up. I believe they are both spayed and neutered but I'll confirm that for you. They are housebroken but have never been to obedience school.
Fanny is the lover of the two. She loves being around people and having her belly rubbed. She can be protective if she feels that those she loves are being threatened. She's outgoing and gentle. She's seven. When her housemate corgi, Walter, died, she was very upset and lost energy until Rufus showed up. It took her a while to warm up, but they now love each other and play together often.
Rufus, the Pemmie, is two. He's got a quirky personality and is very sensitive. He sometimes scares easily around loud noises or people who are strangers. When I was taking pictures of him for the corgi tales page, he kept running away every time the camera flashed. (Fanny seemed to love having her picture taken). He was bought from a breeder in OK. Emily was concerned that maybe the breeders were not very nice people and it's made Rufus skittish. Once he warms up to someone, he's very friendly but is not needy. He's more independent than Fanny.
I had a ton of fun at Boneyard yesterday and really loved seeing all the adorable corgis!
Wish we could see everyone! Maybe by next month Taffy will be able to come to a meetup. Have a great time!
