Won't be able to make it this month, going to be out of town. But I plan on seeing y'all in September.

I don't think Decker and I are going to be able to make it on the 27th, but we look forward to meetin up next month! And thanks so much for the info about dog day with the Astros! What an awesome group y'all have!

We've been several times & it's fun! The dog parade around the warning track before the game is very cool, it's interesting to see the park from the field. They even provide "dog sitters" to hold your dog so you can get food (health code prevents unpackaged food being sold in dog section).

September 4th is Dog Day at Minute Maid park and you can bring your dog to the Astros game. If anyone is interested in going here is the link: http://houston.astros.mlb.com/hou/ticketing/dog_day.jsp?partnerId=a... Before the game they have a dog parade and let you walk around the outside track of the field and there is also a costume contest. I am sure it is guaranteed to be a fun and noisy event!

Looks like Bill Archer is going to be the place. We usually do 9 in the summer because it's so hot, but it's been crazy hot, so hubby suggested 8:30, to try & avoid the worst. DeeDea, we promise later times for our 2, maybe 3 months of cooler temps ;)

Either is fine but we prefer Bill Archer :) can't wait for the 27th!

i would like to go to bill archer. we've never been. we went to danny jackson over the weekend and it was waaaaaaaaaaaay too hot for my chocolate bar. we can come on the 27th! but oh gosh, 830, you morning birds are killing me. ;) anything for the corgis!!!

The 27th is great for Bentley and I! We really like the Bill Archer dog park but either one is pretty close to us. Looking forward to see everyone!

The 27th sounds good! I am not a morning person but for the corgis I can be there at 8:30. Danny Jackson is closer but I love the Bill Archer park. If we get there early we can get the spot in the shade near the dog pond.
