We can do the 23rd. The East Lansing dog park is small and very sparse but is easy to find and OK to use. I also would not recommend the Lansing one. We can all hope for good weather!

The 23rd sounds good for us - we are in Okemos (next to East Lansing).  Lansing's dog park isn't too great...  and will start using an electronic entry system April 1.  East Lansing's dog park is small, but sufficient.  Maybe this summer we can all meet at the beach dog park in Muskegon - I have never been there but Willy LOVES running on the beach!

I totally didn't think about Easter on Sunday. I am not sure if that is going to be a problem. For us it will be ok as we are not doing anything else that day. I won't be able to do the following w/e as we are at an all day fine arts festival our son is perfoming in. @Stephanie, we have done Sunday before, so when I post some for the year I will try to make some on a Sunday. Last yr. we tried to do once a month. I was thinking that would be good for this year also. @Laura, we have only been to a fenced in area so the dogs could play off leash. We came from AA, Saginaw, Lansing, Dearborn Heights, Auburn Hills, Hazel Park. We are from all over. We talked last about going to Lansing. I think maybe would could try that in April. I will post in the next few days(after some investigation on the Lansing Area) and if I don't hear of much opposition I will post it for the 23rd. Then the next one on a Sunday somewhere else. Hope this sounds ok to everyone.

Stephanie, I could meet up with you at anytime. I am in GR. My work schedule varies but my husband is a M-F worker, so Sunday's could work. Otherwise, We could schedule a Sunday meet-up closer to here and hopefully others will want to come. :-)

Could there be a possible Sunday corgi meetup?  My husband would love to come and Sunday is his only day off.  We are in Wayland closer to the Grand Rapids area.  Our girls have only been on leashes outside unless in their fenced in area.

I also just noticed that April 23rd is the day before Easter. Will that cause any problems?

Since I was not a part of a meet up last year, I am not sure where most people are coming from. What would be central ground, or where have people met before?

Date and time sound great, and as I said before we are willing to travel. Our Maggie does well either on or off leash so it really doesn't matter. Either way forward the details and we will be there.

We are willing to travel as well. Do you guys usually do off leash play? I am not sure I trust Maggie enough for that yet :-)
