I am a CT Technologist, who is privileged to share life with Brody, a very spirited Pembroke Welsh Corgi! I also have a couple of kitty's at home, as well as my boyfriend Brian, who works as a Paramedic and is the BEST Daddy to our furry kids.Although we may be a "nontraditional" bunch, Brian and I, the cats - Pounce & Moxie, and our Brodster are one big happy "family"!

Brody came home with us on Thursday, November 13th 2008.He is one eager and strong willed little guy, but also so much fun, to play and work with! After the experience we had with our first Corgi pup, Bailey, it has been very difficult to avoid spoiling him. Ongoing training and patience is a MUST, thanks in part to his very headstrong and willful personality! Since November, he has grown into a 30LB bundle of affection, sass, energy, muscle, humor and fun. I LOVE having Brody in my life, and he brings a smile to my face every single day.

Thanks Nichole, Izzy (the red one) loves Misty but Sparty barely tolerates her. Fortunately she is not aggressive and always backs down to him. I love your photos especially the one with the Santa hat!

Thanks for the information. I can't believe a breeder must less a person with any heart would do something like that.. How horrible for you and your family much less that poor little puppy. Sounds like you tried your hardest. Brody however, is absolutely beautiful.. what a gorgeous guy. his coloring and markings are so soft.

Hi Nichole! So sorry to hear about your little Bailey....that is awful.....poor thing, she was so cute. It isnt fair that some lives our cut so short. Love the pictures you got of her. Your new little one is so adorable....any ideas of names?

The Name Game......

Here's a list of names that Brian and I have each chosen and are debating over....some have a little meaning behind them..some we just like. I think we are going to wait until the day our little guy comes home, before we officially choose, because we want to see more of his personality first.

I made sure to schedule our new puppy an appointment with our Veterinarian, 1st thing, after we bring him home.I am taking full advantage of the tough lessons we learned from our experiences with Bailey.

I just got off of the phone with Patti, the breeder we are getting our new pup from. she is such a nice lady. We have arranged for our (tentative) pick-up date to be on Saturday November 22nd!

I can't wait to see the little guy again.....my boyfriend and I are still debating a little over names for him, but for now, I'm just happy to hear that he is doIng great.

Time to go puppy-shopping!!!!!!!

I just returned home from another days work.....I'm tired, my feet hurt and I really need to be in bed resting up for tomorrow, however I am overcome with excitement about my new puppy!

All I can think about are what else I need to purchase for welcoming the cutie-pie home (I am a PLANNER-that is for sure.)

I have puppy gates and crates to install, toys, leashes,collar, food etc etc etc to buy;

Vet appointments to schedule,
