I live 7 miles from Nebraska...and my sister lives in Omaha, so can we join the Nebraska Corgis. We would love to come to a Corgi meet up if there is one near Scottsbluff.

Hi. New to the site. My wife Lisa and I have two Pemborkes Kirby and Teddy. They are Texas transplant Corgis but they now love the snow.

I went to the Whine social with Brodie and Fern. Fergie is in the middle of her heat cycle so she couldn't go. It was so much fun. There was one other Corgi there. A beautiful red/white with the mascara eyes. It was fun tasting wine and visiting with all the dog owners. A definate do again! Sounds like they try to do one every three months or so.

Kristen you must be driving really close to our place! We live just off the Malmo road about 3 miles south of county road X.
Poor Duke! He had a stroke last July and we had to put him down. Too young for a Saint! He was only 9 yrs old. Now we have Zeb, a monster of a Saint he is now 8 months old. Penni bosses him around!

Thought I would bring your attention to a couple of events sponsored through Three Dog Bakery in Omaha. They are fundraisers for the Nebraska Humane Society. I think Craig and I and at least two of the Corgi pack will be going to the Wine Social!

Whine Social

On Tuesday March 10th from 6:30 to 8 pm we will be having a Whine Social at Wine Styles. We are asking for $10 donations per dog for the Nebraska Humane Society. Bring your poochies out so they can meet with friends while you sample wonderful wine. Please let us know if your dog will be paw-ticipating so we can bring enough treats. Our Corgi is Dax, a tricolor pembroke and we love her very much but I think I need to start a discussion about someone to adopt her. Not that we don't love her, but I don't think we are fair to her and give her the attention and exercise SHE needs. I'd be interested meeting an older active person without little kids who would always be there for her,and maybe even stay in contact with us.

Any ideas for a candidate, please contact me.
