So you could say my interest in the corgi breed began about six years ago, when I first saw Cowboy Bebop. Ein was naturally my favorite character, not only for his wit and charm, but because he was an animal, and I was an avid animal lover already, so that made him number one in my book! I never really researched the breed, considering I was still living with parents and I knew they wouldn't permit a kid to get a dog all of their own.

The owner is the 19-year-old son of Connie Stevens, a realtor in Lincoln. Connie has significant allergic reaction (hives) and nothing seems to work to keep the reaction under control. They tried bathing him weekly, daily brushing, vacuuming 2x day, etc. and she doesn’t want to routinely take Benadryl. Her son graduated from high school last spring. He wants to keep the dog and move out of the house, but it sounds like that’s not feasible. Here’s what I know about the Corgi from Connie:
He’s a 15-month red & white Pembroke Corgi with a great personality. He has lived with this family since June 2009. His previous owners are from Crete; they didn’t have time for him. He is AKC registered and neutered. Connie’s son purchased him for $150 and now is free to a good home.
Connie’s # is 432-0166. I don’t know her other than she’s a realtor. We connected through our vet who called me because we have a Corgi-loving family and thought I might be able to help her. I will continue to help as you request.
Thanks, Kristen! We’re looking forward to more information about the Star City Parade.
Our Pembroke Sunny & Pembroke/Border Collie Cher, along with Sunny’s sister Mable who lives in Seattle with our son wish this little guy all the best. We love those Corgis!!!!
