Just thought I would say hi! I saw your puppy's picture on the Nebraska Corgis group page, and had to remark on how gorgeous her markings are. Also cool to see another corgi owner from the Omaha area. :)
Welcome! and yeah...selective....as in ...my ears dont work until I decide they work....yeah..Ein's going to be 5 in Nov...and those ears need cleaning... or something lol so, patience on our part ....p.s. i walk Ein with no leash , i trust Ein to have good judgement, and he teaches me...patience....sigh..yeah...just what i needed..
If she is anything like Jack, he picks up on things quickly but is selective when he wants to do them :-) Jack is 8 months old now, he really is a sweet little guy, stubborn but sweet :-)
I was traveling through the mullen area a while back and saw an add for Corgis on a sale board at a gas station. I wonder if it was the same breeder! I think it is great that you got to meet the parents and see the puppy early. The breeder we got Brodie from in Missouri we visited with before he was even conceived and went to visit twice when he was little. It does a lot to know that our little ones come from caring breeders. We also met Fergies Breeder in Crawford about two years before we got a puppy from her. We were able to spend the better part of the day and socialize with her parents as well. We will find another time to set up a meet-up. I think it would be so much fun.
Giada has really pretty tri-color markings.....she is a cute little girl. How is the teaching her how to shake coming along? I have been trying that with Jack a little, so far it hasnt stuck :-)
Thanks for the sweet comment on Lances eyes. : ) Lance is a cardigan welsh corgi/blue merle. He is full corgi. The blue eyes come from the coloring of the blue merle. : )
Welcome to you all. Your Giada is one beautiful little tri! Where in the sandhills did you get her? One of my girls (Fergie) is from Crawford and one (Lizzie) is from Verdigree. Welcome to the Nebraska Corgi group as well!
