Your help is needed. Lowri, a puppy mill rescue from Hearts United for Animals was adopted last Friday, unfortunately the unthinkable happened and she slipped away from her new family in Indianola IA. Her background has left her afraid of people and she is out on her own. Her family is doing everything possible to get her back. A team with dogs trained to find lost dogs is helping with the effort. Your good thoughts and prayers are needed. If you know anyone in the area pass on this message. The alert is on the hua.org website and on their facebook page. I've been a "buddy" to Lowri while she was at HUA. She has had a hard life and deserves to be back with her family and start her "good life"

Merry Christmas to all of you and your Nebraska Corgis. We are looking forward to a quiet Christmas at home. Well as quiet as it can be with four eight week old Corgi pups dominating the show! If you are traveling--be safe, if you are staying home curl up with your Corgi and stay warm. Merry Christmas and a Joyous New Year!

I would be interested also, hopefully it won't be too far and on a day I don't have to work!! Penni needs to meet some other Corgis!

We might be interested! Traveling would depend on the date.

Depending on the weather and roads, I'm in for a winter Corgi meet-up (and a St Patrick's Day parade walk). I live in Lincoln, and if you're running short on venue options, I could check with my neighborhood rec center. I'm a member, so it shouldn't cost anything for a reservation.

I am going to check around the area to see if there is an indoor horse facility or other type of venue that we could hold a Corgi a Meet-up at this winter...if there is sufficient interest. Who would be interested and how far would you be willing to travel.

This little girl is in Columbus, and was rescued from a wire kennel after 4 years of neglect it sounds like. Check her out!
