No problem! Just make sure she has ALL her puppy shots before she goes...for her own protection! They ask you not take a puppy younger than 4 months (I think...). Once you've been, you'll understand why! They do have an area for large dogs (over 30 pounds) and one for small-medium (under 30 pounds), but I sometimes find people with larger dogs in the smaller dog area. I take my two Corgis to a doggy day care a couple of times a week so that they can interact with other dogs (and I can collect my sanity! LOL!). They love it and come home completely exhausted!

Thanks so much Kim! I still don't pick Lola up for another month but I'm trying to work out everything before she's here!

Jessie, I live in the same general area. The nearest dog park to us is at Jack Carter Park in Plano (you can Google it for information, hours, and requirements). We go when my husband is off...I need an extra set of hands with these two! LOL!

I live at George Bush and Preston. Anyone know what dog parks are close to me?

Do you all ever do any meetups at dog parks?

I think we're going to the Plano park Wednesday morning at 10. :)

We are on the small dog side...Blaze is 25 pounds and Diamond is only 16 (she's still quite the puppy at 5 1/2 months!).

That works for me! I hate going in the afternoon when it is ridiculously hot. Do you guys go in the big dog side or the small dog? Wrigley is a mix, so he's about 35-40lbs and I generally take him on the big side.

If the weather is nice (no rain), how about the Plano park on Wednesday, Aug. 26 at 10 a.m.? I'm open to other suggestions...just don't want to go too late in the day when it's *really* hot! My two just got their stitches out yesterday, so they are good to go!
