Today is the one year anniversary of bringing Wrigley home from the shelter! Since he was about a year then, I am also celebrating his 2nd birthday today. We're going to celebrate by going for a walk, cuddling, playing with the laser pointer and making a steak for dinner! I have been on vacation for five days without my fur baby! I miss him so much! He is at home with my boyfriend, who says he misses me terribly. Let me start off by saying I love my dog to death and he is the sweetest, most non-aggressive dog I have ever known. On the other hand, he is really annoying at the dog park. I try to take him to one at least once a week because it seems like he was socialized very well with humans, not so much with dogs, before he came to me. It's been raining pretty much every day here for the last two weeks and supposed to continue until Friday. Poor Wrigley has been cooped up inside for most of that time. We don't have a backyard and the dog park is a swamp, so those options are out even for a short run. I've been trying to figure out what exactly Wrigley is for the last few months. I have had several people tell me he is just a big Corgi (and not show quality), I have had people tell me he looks like a Sheltie (I don't think so) and a few people told me he is just a poorly bred Corgi (I prefer "unique" so his feelings aren't hurt).
