Welcome LaRae & Raife. I am sure you both will do very well. Best luck.

Raife is only 4 months old but I am a college student studying to be a Marriage and Family Therapist with Raife assisting in my practice.  I've got a ways to go, but I have a specific goal in mind and even at 4 months Raife seems to have the temperament required to excel at it.  Only time and much more training will tell. =)

Hey Corgi friends please keep in mind that there is a chipin page (which is currently open) for the fundraiser as well as an online auction taking place in August.
Also please be aware that you don’t physically have to attend the physical event. You can accept the invite to the event and just participate on the on-line activities that are going on.
Besides everything we have going on we also have a raffle for a chance to win 1 out of 3 prizes.
-How do you enter the raffle? You can enter the raffle several ways…#1 By donating via chipin, for every $1 donated you receive 1 raffle ticket. #2By donating an item to the auction, for every item you donate to the auction you receive 25 raffle tickets. #3 By being an active reader, Evie could be clumsy at times and drop a ticket on your page. ;-)

This fundraiser will benefit CorgiAid,Corgipals and Kansas Corgi Connection. Please take the time to like Evie's page and read how CORGIAID and Kansas Corgi Connection saved her. http://www.facebook.com/CorgiSmiles

I am sure you remember my Rhiannon, well I retired her and rehomed her to a lovely couple that had gotten a puppy from me that was sired by Baron and the dam was Fergie whose name is Rocky. Well Rocky and Rhiannon are in a commercial for WCIU, a television station in Illinois. They need our votes to be the top dog commercial for May. Please take the time to share this and get everyone you know to vote. We appreciate it.

Merry Christmas & Happy New Year To Everyone!

I've sadly given up a lot of control since rehoming Ricky-Rafa. Lucy is extremely well behaved and I spent a lot of time with her training. I let all my standards slack with Ricky. Just getting him adapted to our family life was a challenge of itself. He is now fully adapted and is the more loving of the two, but I've gotten lazy & I know it. I'm mighty impressed with how you manage 13 while I often don't have a handle with the 2, esp. when people are visiting!

A few have asked for me to do a video of the set up...I might just do that to prove it is not hard as many may think but I am very orderly with my dogs...sometimes I have better control then others...the worst is when someone comes over...after a few minutes then normalcy comes back. In the photo is 3 bitches in heat and 3 males in the group...2 pups around 6 months old..2 dogs coming up on a year old...3 dogs just over a yr old...the remaining are over 2 yrs old. I'm very persistent when I give a command and I set rules and boundaries...there are times I let things slide but they know that one tone in my voice...glare in the eye...and body posture that hell is about to freeze over..LOL The biggest thing is a connection...they have to want to do for you and truly love you...the rest kinda comes easy.

WOW!  What a picture!

I am seriously SO jealous....  How do you make them all get along?  I don't think that my three would sit that close to each other without snarling...

Thanks for sharing!
