The tails are docked at 3 days. They are one year old now. The sable out of my other litter of 3 at the same time is now a UKC Champion and working on his AKC championship. I think he turned out so nicely. He really nice looking boy.

congrats very cute! Will you be docking the tails? I see so many Corgis around with this little stub, looks funny.

Colors go: Photo 1 True Red, Tri, Sable, red and white. Photo 2 True Red, Red and White, Tri, sable.

Sables have black in their coat. Most corgi puppies look gray or the color muddy looking. They will not get brilliant colors til later. When you have a blond puppy they are what you call a true red because they have no black in their coat and you can tell this when they are born. They will then get a more redish coat and the blond with disappear and they will look just like the other red and whites. I will post a picture later of a litter I had with a true red, sable, red and white, and tri colored puppy all in one litter.

What color undercoat does sables have? Does it matter? So far Freya's undercoat is gray.
