I will be having a Pem litter in December this year. Possible sables, tris, and red and whites. Both parents are tri factored. Puppies will be ready for homes in the spring. Checkout me site if you are interested. LD's Radical Edward Einstein and Sunny Garden's Tinkerbell.
Here is there Valantines Day meet up photo.

Hi! Heres Juno the Sablelicious Corgi! Do not believe that face! Nahhh she is an adorable rascal...1 year3 months and 12 days...but ...whos counting!? She develops a beautiful mask...and reading that she is going to be changing colors every time she sheds her coat is really exiting! Her mom was a sable and her dad a tri, she looks and behave like her mom...must be..because her father is an angel! Corgis are not common in Puerto Rico, so she does not have corgi friends, but she her best friend is a mix dog : Petula and they really love to play around like crazies she is also in love with oreo, a cocker spaniel that he so jelous of her that he does not acknowledge her presence....but she really knows how to get notice! So we are saying HI from Puerto Rico and thanks for this wonderful site.

The interesting thing about sables is that every time they shed their coats their hair will change. They will continue to get darker and darker as they age and the black areas or hairs with black and red may expand to cover more of the body. Some lines the sable will take longer to darken then others do. That is the fun part about having a sable is that you never know how their coats are going to change each year.

So I have a "sable" pup who's about 14 weeks now. He's very dark
around his muzzle and is developing some dark spurts between the white
and red in his collar. It's pretty obvious to me that he is very much
a sable. His adult fur is growing in on his back and his hairs are
black and red, not just red.

I'm wondering when your pups developed their true sable colors?

His face seems to be getting darker also. At first he just had his
"guyliner" but now a dark streak has extended to his ears. Tufts in
front of his ears are turning darker and so are the back of his ears.
He's from a litter with a sable dad and a tri mom.

Any predictions would be awesome!

Hello we are new to mycorgi. My puppy Archie is a sable. When we got him at 12 weeks he was very dark grey on back but two weeks later he is a bit lighter. It will be interesting to see what his coat looks like when he is older. Can anyone tell me approx how long it took their furry one to develop their adult coat? Cheers Jen
