all is finally quiet here at the house. we had "company" from last saturday thru this morning. my sister and her oldest came for a visit all the way from florida, via ytah. her other daughter lives in utah and got married last week. then the 2 came here. jiker claimed my niece as his human toy. jenny crashed on the living room floor. sunday morning when i let them out of my room, joker ran in and gave jenny little wake-up kisses. well, she made the mistake of not responding so he went and peed on her feet. got her up. we all laughed about it. needless to say, after that, when joker spoke, she listened. i had to bring them to the airport by 6:30 this morning. now things can go back to normal. now i rest.

just can't keep a good pup down. when they want out, they want out. and at such a young age. can't wait to see what they put you through when they really start tootin' around. and shelley, i figured you would be half way to the grandbaby. pictured you hitchin' up the hounds to the sled and heading out.

Sorry guys, no candids from last night. We had too much fun talking and playing that it got too dark to take anything good and I totally forgot until Ellen and co. wre leaving.
We did come up with a couple new names--the mismark girl is now Beverly. She was "singing" opera to Ellen and spent most of her night in her lap. Ellen is very cultured-a master flute player, rides dressage horses, etc, so mismark and her sinnging led to a Beverly Sills comment.
The brindle girl who we had been calling Panda is now MoonDawg.

Tomorrow with some good light we will take a slug of individual photos and they are officially moving to the study as this morning chaos called and 8 of them were out of the whelping pool and following Mom around the room.

so exciting reading all about the upcoming nationals:) would love to go ..one day... maybe next year.... then I'll likely be stuck home with pups if I am lucky....and all things come together:)) meantime, we will go one show at a time... we will see how Mika 's training goes along, and Spunky's coat comes in, and recent injury heals.. call me paranoid, but not going to stress him , let things really heal....concentrate on working with Mika...I'll look at shows maybe before and after Thanksgiving, and then again well before and after Christmas, as my business is CRAZY at holidays!
At present its all about the first grandbaby!! EEEEE leave monday to go to see him!!

all i have coming up is IABCA in november. joker will be going. going to wait until next may and then take the old bo, jack, to hutchison, mn. and see if wwe can get our IABCA Ch. on him. joker will be going after his adult Ch. sandy hopefully has some UKC shows coming up. mine are both Grands,so not spending any on them for UKC. maybe next year jack can go and show off in the old farts class. here it is week 3 and no new dirty dozen pic's and it's almost the end of the week. and for Hank- go and get that CH. in front of your name. shelley's new grandbaby is adorable. kind of a funny looking corgi. i wonder if he is a tail or a no-tail. hehehe. congrats to the new grammy. all take care

Love to go out there and show but with Kim's bum wrist, so close to the holidays and well, I'm sure I'll still have part of the Dirty Dozen still at home, just not an option. But yes, pictures would be awesome!

One of these days we'll be at the big shows. I have a friend we can stay with out in New York, so that actually looks like the one we'll get to sooner.

Odd... almost more shows this Fall than we've had during the Summer. The BIG deal in Southern California is the AKC Eukanuba National Championship in Long Beach our home town. It's a two-day "benched" show, but preceded by three days of shows from local clubs. Will have Corgi pictures for sure.

Okay folks, what's on everyone's schedule for shows this fall? Of course I'm sitting at home puppy sitting, so I need a fix from everyone else.
