oh no so you home or at work Cindy...
would love to do some herding with my rescue girl and Mika .. monk well he can take it or leave it. lolol has instinct but maybe not the drive to stay on task lolol too spoiled but he might surprise me... Just havent found anyone with sheep within a reasonable distance to train regularly... go figure.. but lots of wild geese here and Missy and Mika manage the nasty critters all on their own.. so would def be good in herding..amazing to watch little Mika go off as tho I had asked her to bring them to me....and herd an entire flock of wild canada geese and goslings to within feet of me before backing off and lying down... all full of herselfLOLOL all the while I am backing off falling over myself trying to get away from the nasty beasts all spitting and lunging at me... LOL
so... the gal I met in Duluth( next grooming space) and handed off for who raises Siberians, Tedi Devlin Antara Siberians, took best in show in TX the other day with the daughter of the veteran bitch she had in Duluth!! Will be in Hutchinson in couple weeks , but I waived Hutchinson as wasnt sure Spunk would be ready ( fur and healing from last albeit minor injury) But I may go to Minneapolis in Nov and st cloud in early Dec.. coat is coming in nicely and he should be in showcoat by then.. and he is fine injury wise and tomorrow will be final prednisone.. so will take these weeks to slowly increase excersise and get him back in shape.. slowly... may do some fall swimming if lake isnt yukky...
so who ya think you will keep cindy?? ( prediction) my bet dark brindle girl and red boy? I only saw wee one picrures... they are all beautiful, will be hard to choose...
I am itching for a road trip... still no business loan for finishing shop ..dissappointing with holidays coming up and bills piling up... need to get open!! meantime stir crazy... BTW anybody wants cheesecake or fresh fruit pies for holidays contact me early, they ship well! Christmas parties, thanksgiving..etc.... gift giving...
other news..contemplating selling my dodge van... as it just sits in driveway, but looking ahead..would make a great dogshow vehicle.... take out seats rig a few necessities... would be fantastic ! so thinking.....could realistically sleep 2 in it and have all the show stuff and crates....trying to figure how to add an a/s unit so neednt run to keep cool..... in hot summer shows.. brain smokin on this one..LOL decent on gas for travel, 22-25 on highway...not bad for such a big vehicle...
so cross fingers.. october will be dna testing month for my two:) then just have to xray Mikas hips and do her eyes.. stupid me didnt take her to duluth to be cerf'd doh never occurred to me to bring her just to do that:( next show that has a clinic... so hoping for the best results and dont expect any real surprises.. but will hold breath until actual results are in... would like to get initial breeding in around spring heat... we will see.....

Been quiet around here. No new photos until tonight or tomorrow-too gloomy on Saturday and I was nursing an injury yesterday.

Seriously, you do need a cardigan! Kick some butt up in MN :0)

We did attend All Things Scottish/Celtic Fest, with Fred, Moose and the smooth collie, Lace on Saturday. Had a great talk with a herding instructor and planning on some lessons in the near future with her. Got really wet and the fourlegged kids had lots of pets and great comments on how well behaved they were. Moose was just concerned that he couldn't go out and herd some woolies!

Tripped and fell on Saturday at home. Huge bruise on my foot and my shoulder and neck are totally in need of a chiropratctor and massage session.

Co-owner of the dirty dozen came up on Sunday to take some photos of the pets and was very very happy with how they are turning out.

The grand baby is adorable and yes I forsee a future linebacker :)

Luna was being called Panda but we have a friend who has a little b/w girl named that already. So when I decided on her registered name, that popped into my head.
Now Junior--you have to meet my Moose to totally appreciate it. This puppy is a dead ringer for Moose. Color, personality, food motivation. He loves to lay on his back and have under his chin scratched, he's usually a big lug about tackling his siblings and well, he just looks at you with the same expression as Moose. So he's Moose Jr or Junior for short.
Einstein, is the opposite. Not the brightest puppy around, but still very cute and adorable.
I tend to do call names based some what on the registered name but mostly on personality. As in Pete--yes she's a girl, but you look at her and she's just a Pete or Peterman when you're mad.

Favorites are "Junior" and "Luna" (but don't tell the others)... have fun with them, they're all beautiful.
