It all depends. Marg was the huge puppy in the litter and she matured at 30 lbs soaking wet. Moose, well that's whole nother story-he's a whopping 45lbs now and he was the big puppy.

yes at thsi point looks like you have consistency in type and style, and do smaller and larger really indicate anything at this age?? In your experience, don't some smaller catch up? they are not necessarily outsized or undersize at this stage are they?? Even months in age I have seen small pups ( usually with huge paws) grow into the paws and became average if not larger adults??
choose??? Well keep em all and make yer own majors AHAHAHAHAHAHAHA LMAO! well cept for the mismarks... they may not count for a major LOL

The shades of brindle is really amazing. If you look at Abbey's photos' you would swear she's a b/w, that's how dark brindle she is. Of course they will lighten with age. The red brindle boy will be the same color as Moose and a little lighter then Peterman. The darker brindle boys will be like Russ in color.

Choosing? Are you kidding me, I have to choose???? Actually it will be hard as four of the boys are so similar in style and type that I'm going to have to get nitpicky. But that's what the goal was-consistency. Yes there are a few that are either smaller or larger, but for the most part I have the style of head I figured I would get. Now to wait till they hit four weeks so I can look at shoulders and rears.

but at 2 weeks+_ love red brindle boy and dark brindle boy with hourglass and the black brindle girl"))) but these are simply color preference haahahah love the red brindle, love chrome:) love the dark brindle with each ear having a bit of white LOL soooooooooooo cute all of them How the blazes do you choose:) And can omagine the little voices and all that puppy breath...
It is all so cute but a ton of work..... !!! LMAO "the dirty dozen" hahahahahahahaha Congratulations!!! They are beautiful!!!

Kim broke her wrist when they were pulling their boat up the ramp in anticipation of the Mississippi flooding earlier in August. They live near the Quad Cities, right near the river. She's had surgery but it looks to be another 8-10 weeks for her. So no dog shows, Russ is hanging out at home for the fall and winter.

Pete is well Pete. Alec took her to the show this weekend, took RWB. It was so windy she refused to put her ears up and I totally understand why-struggle for the humans to stand up in the gusts. She's got her hair back, sort of. Still needs some pants.

We are bringing the old man out of retirement. Seems part of his OCD issues at home are due to not going to the shows. Granted he hates to travel, hates to be at the shows, but is a seasoned professional in the ring. He'll be doing juniors with the Ms for a few shows and we'll see how that fixes things. Oh that would be our first cardigan, Fred. Russ and Pete's grandfather.
