So sorry that I haven't been able to update anyone but show chairing is a full time job until Reggie and Sharon with Onofrio have their trailer packed and are out the gate of the grounds. I'll post tidbits through out the day because I am at work and attempting to catch up from two days off.

Weather-almost perfect. Exhibitors-awesome. Judges-mostly great, judging-again, mostly great. As always some issues arise and those will be attended to during the next year.

I do not have pembroke results--will dig out my copy of the judging papers tonight.
Cardigans:
Fri-BOB Lydia, BOS Picasso, BOW Jack, Select Phantom
Sat-BOB Picasso, BOS Lydia, BOW Jack, Select Phantom
Sunday BOB Raider, BOS Lydia, BOW Jack, Select Picasso
Monday-BOB Picasso, BOS Lydia BOW-Krissy(I think) Select Phantom(I think).

Monday was a crazy day so all I can confirm in BOB and BOS.

Picasso is GRCH Beaszak's Blue Nude, Lydia is GRCH Davenitch Lydia Loves Purple. Phantom is CH Camelot's Midnite Masquerade and Raider is CH Turnkey's Little Big Man. Jack is a blue puppy sired by Raider, owned by Wanda B. Krissy is a blue class bitch owned by Rus and Sherilyn Mumme.

Let's see-wind, rain, lightening and a tent 1/2 way collapsing. Just a regular day at a dog show. More later on that.

Oh and puppies--fat, sassy and beautiful. I will try for photos the next couple of days to post on the blog.

and my ear still isn't cooperating!! but news on any of the shows would be nice. is hank showing this weekend????? if so, waiting to hear the news. also, any new news on those little tailed puppies?? haven't heard anything for a while. hope all is well. later

CINDYYYYYY are you at the amana show??? whats the news?? anyone heard anything about the Marquette show??? Major bummer missing that show this weekend:(((( was planned to be fun!! But Vicky 's ear not cooperating and my furless wonder hahahahahaah Hope someone is showing and having some success!

hahahahaha Candace, maybe better no avoid dog breeding conversations ATG LOL Spose everyone has to start somewhere, but not without tons of prior research and a bunch of mentors!! Sounds like they just as you say threw a couple dogs together..., and well there is something to be said for learning thru the school of hard knocks, but tough on the dogs involved.. As long as your future hubby by watching you understands there is a ton more involved in breeding/showing etc, then you can count yourself lucky!! Logistics, whew, what an ordeal to get somewhere in the middle and set up all over again!! Oh well, it will surely be an "US" adventure as opposed to "tours or mine"!!
And white gsd.s of all the breeds to pick to start with!! Holy cow...especially without much prior knowledge.. Hopefully they will think twice before "breeding" again?.
Have you found a new place ? or gonna try to sell yours first??
Are you sad to leave the area you are in ? I hear it is quite beautiful country there. I don't know if I could handle the hot summers in the Ozarks, but I assume you will miss it where you are...
I havent moved in about 12 years and then it was only across town!!lOL and still I had so much STUFF! I did thorough cleaning out before I moved... I decided if I hadnt used /looked at it in 6 months I didnt need it and it WENT! HAHAHAAH Made for a lot less stuff to move LOLOL Seems every time I "cleanout" like this then 2 weeks later I will desparately NEED something I just got rid of! cant win!!LOL Moving sucks!

I am excited, of course who wouldn't be but boy it's a little bit different than your average boy meets girl with all of our logistics. Both being single for so long and sort of having sort of businesses from homes/shop building makes for a lot of stuff to move. I'm literally having to pack up the farm. Today I meet his older sister and brother in-law for the first time. I mentioned this in the New to conf showing thread but this is the one that tried to raise white GSD's. They had little foregoing knowledge of canine husbandry with no "breeding program" or any sort of goals, pretty much just throw these two dogs together. I doubt they have even heard of OFA and from what Derrick tells me they pretty well flopped. And I think they toy with the idea of breeding again. Derrick has gotten an eye opener of just what exactly goes on behind the dog breeding and showing scene and had no idea of the work that went into both doggy activities. Thankfully he understands the dedicatedness about it and if I can't make a family gathering because I got a momma due or something of that nature, he's ok with that. His older sister may not understand but he just says she'll get over it. They were the type to let their momma dog whelp in the barn and discover a litter of puppies upon arriving home, forget about mom, they've got a birthday party to go to. I meet them in a few hours, Lord help me bite my tongue if the need arises.

bet you went to the liquor store for boxes!!!!!!!!!! did you purchase by the case?????????? hehehe!!! sandy said pups are doing great. she moved them into a baby pool and they weren' t happy at first. but i guess they are doing ok with it now. i'm still waiting to see new pic's on them. will be going down there the end of october and the pups should be gone by then. darn!!!!!!!!!! waiting to hear on the 12 cardie babies also. take care

well thats super!!! and yeah moving sucks:( all the packing and sorting and cleaning ..
hey I used to go to the local liquor store for boxes:) they always have a bunch and they are small enough to pack and still lift!!
when I moved cross country I bought plastic totes when on sale and packed a lot of stuff in them!

Havn't heard much from Sandy, I have been really busy getting the house ready to sell and getting a bunch of other stuff sold so I can start the house selling and moving process. Thought about packing some stuff ahead of time and putting it aside but I need to locate some boxes. I am so chomping at the bit to get things done and get moved to my new dog show friendly location.

But that Cardi female I got about 2 months ago, got her hips done and she was OFA GOOD!!!!! Results just came in the mail today.
