i hit a deer once and it was so bad i started crying. it just came out of nowhere. very little damage to vehicle, and the cop couldn't find it, so i always wonder what happened to him. it was a buch and i hit him smack in the side. he had come out from the left and then boom. i was really feeling like crap. i'm the kind that brakes for squierrels, for heavens sakes! the first time i ever drove, my sister took me out to the country (less traffic) and i almost went in the ditch to avoid hitting a couple of toads. at least you guys weren't hurt and it is sad about the deer. we live in a highly populated deer area and you never know when one of those buggers are going to jump out. my rule is if you see one, watch for more and slow down. take care. it gets easier. by the way, i haven't eaten venison since.

well, i hope they figure out what is going on with you. hospitals are no fun. they wake you up when you are sleeping nicely and want you to go to sleep when your wide awake. and they wake you for reasons i really don't consider urgent (haha) ok, taking those pills on time is one thing). hang in there. the furbabies will understand. jack had to wait 9 days before i came home when i first got sick. then he was gone for 35 days when i had my hip surgery. they forgive. take care and get better.

so , I just continued to struggle all afternoon and finally caved and went in to doc for another shot in butt and he put me in the hospital:( in addition to a shot in the butt.So a real photo op ..ran out of house in horrible house /dog clothes and sandals to make it 30 min to doc before they close for weekend, brought nothing with me, so I go directly 2 blocks from docs office to hosp admitting looking like @@#!@ Son at work, so upon admittance to hospital, first things first I took a shower, then washed my clothes in the sink. and hung them up makeshift hospital laundry hahahaahah So here I am missing my furbabies who will have to wait till Rob gets home from work to eat and go out. I am not expecting to be here long hopefully

i can see one totally spoiled grandchild. we have had rain and thunder today. it bothered jack some (seems to as he gets older). so i told him it was the squirrels making all that boom-boom noise and throwing all that water. it was pouring buckets. i told him to "get em" and he started barking and running around like he was some big killin' machine. got him thru the storm. when he was a young puppy, i would make a game out of the thunder noises and firework noises and he seemed to be ok, but now that he's getting up there, he doesn't handle the noises as well. his mother was real horrible when it came to storms or fireworks. she would try to hide any where she could. i didn't get her until she was 5 yrs. so i never knew what she had gone thru or if people just told her it was ok, which is encouraging non-acceptalbe behavior, so i really had no choice but to grin and bear it. that's why i raised jack to think loud noises were a game. well, it's almost time for me to choke down my meds. yuk!!!! i know i'm on one for life, that being my thyroid pill. i'm working on getting off the high cholestrol and eventually the diabetic meds. i'm not sure if i can come off the 81mg. aspirin or not, but i will be asking. i have just started taking vitamins about 6 weeks ago. longest i have ever taken them. i just can't stand slugging down pills. i take 10 vitamins a day. 5 in the morning, and 5 at supper. well, you take care and will talk to you later. glad to hear that spunky is doing better. just don't rush him. he's young enough that if you miss the show season, you always have next year.

ya more meds and I still feel like crap .
Mika will be 2 soon and she is a stubborn little one. hasnt has much time on the table. She wasnt too happy yesterday that everybody else was on the ground..she will get it eventually..:)
Losing a child never ever gets easier.. you just keep breathing one day at a time.nothing is ever the same so try to focus on each and every minute as if it could be the last.. some days are better than others.. holidays are hard.. but we try to celebrate his young life:)
Maybe things will be different when eldest has his forst child in September and I become a gramma.

your doc keeps giving you more and i keep trying to get rid of the meds i'm on. so sorry about the loss of your son. i have never gone thru anything like that and they say it get's easier, but i can't imagine how. i think your female want's to be a german shepherd. she almost has the correct stance for it. if her inside leg were forward and her outside leg were back, she would have it nailed. the iowa shows are tiny at the end of the month. the corgi entry is 1-male, 5-females and i know 4 of the females. the only way joker can get a point is to go breed and best of winner's, because there are no champions entered. well, not the first time i have been in this situation and i'll bet it won't be the last. well, i will have fun because i am friends with the people that have 4 of the bitches. you hang in there and get better.
