Been practicing with Spunky, Vicky. He is such a showoff. Gaiting is going well and he is free stacking pretty consistently.... back seems better and almost done with meds so next couple weeks vet says once meds stopped .. keep a bit quieter allow healing to set...

this is a bad week having lost my youngest son to an accident 4 years ago yesterday so I suppose there may be a little stress I am unaware of due to this week. I am always a bit weird this first week in June.. and again at the end of the month when his birthday rolls around. All his friends come and we continue to celebrate his birthdays just as we always did with picnic sleepover fireworks etc.. This june would have been Tylers 17th birthday. All the kids are getting so big before my eyes.

well yesterday and last night horrible after feeling better after doc on tuesday so called doc again today and he ordered of all things xanax.. in addition to neb treatments antibiotocs antihistimine and pseudafed, tesalan pearls, and it works.. apparently stress over not being able to breathe makes it doubly hard to breathe. I had a shot at docs ( steroid) and taking prednisone,so after last night struggling past wheezing cough all night and today, took the xanax and voila felt better all day. Apparently this virus of the bronchi has triggered asthma reaction and is just miserable.. went thru my whole room today took off down comforter, changed bedding vaccuumed furballs, washed floors dusted dressers, so hopefully now, each day will be better until I am back on track.... I dont think I have ever taken so many drugs at once... sheesh

I have asmtha, no fun, with my big triggers being mold, dust(I live on a gravel road) and artifical sweetners(nutrasweet is the worst). I tend to get a lot of phlegm with colds and flareups. Mucinex is always on stock in my medicine cabinet and works great with the drug cocktail I take every day. Hope you get to feeling better soon, being sick is no fun.
Speaking of which, just found out that dogs can take zyrtec--at least I feel better that if I drop on of those, it's perfectly safe if one of the kids doesn't obey the leave it or wait command.

everyone tells me mucinex(? on spelling) works great to get rid of that stuff. glad to hear your feeling better, though. i hate taking anti-biotics. are you eating yogurt while on the anti-biotics? this time of the year is just horrible for allergies. seems if it isn't one thing, it's another. i am so looking forward to heading down to "the farm" at the end of the month. will be playing with puppies. already have one picked out for the "total" spoiling experience. am looking forward to the iowa city shows also. well, take care and get better.

Well I would say you will be takin it easy for a bit Vicky! As for me, xrays and ct scans all came back clear. Bloodwork all normal, so suspects some kind of super virus, and phlegm strangling my bronchials and maybe some allergic response as well.. so more antibiotics, prednisone, sudafed, claritan, a shot in the butt.. And some rest . I go back to doc in a week. Breathing better after shot and prednisone..Gonna take a while to get rid of all this phlegm...

good lord woman. all this hitting you is not good. back in jan. of 2009, i wasn't feeling good and ended up going to the hospital via ambulance. a couple days later, i woke up to something shoved down my throat and not quit all there. they finally took that thing out of my throat and they proceeded to tell me that i had congestive heart failure, dbl pneumona, diabetes, low thryroid, severe sleep apnea and then copd got added on a couple of months later. then, march 3rd, i had a right hip replacement, i had troubles walking and that's what it ended up to be. i had hip displaysia in the right hip. doing a little better now with everything. while i spent 9 days in the hospital, they thought i knew i was diabetic. finally i got it through their heads that i hadn't the foggiest idea. i can say i haven't had a cigarette since jan. 8, 2009, the day i went into the hospital. i refuse to say i quit. i just haven't had one. heck, i haven't had a drink since, halloween weekend when i went to the tulsa shows. i haven't quit that, but now being on meds, it's a little scarey. you get your self better. i think the only shows for me are going to be the iowa city and either the cluster in iowa or marquette over labor day. next year will be different. i'll be able to go more, because i will be feeling better. my last time anywhere was davenport, last october. it's crappy getting old. there will always be shows. you getting better is more important. going to bed now, have to get up in 6 hours. yuk!!!! get better and keep us informed on your health progress.
