I would suggest you going to a handling classes in your area. I will be taking my Corgi to handling classes next weds...the instructor is a Cardigan breeder and she shows/judges Cardigans. Also you should try attending the dog shows and watch how the handler stack their dogs. I tell my corgis to "Focus.". ...and she would stand still....Good Luck! Rememeber is about having fun with your Corgi. :) Good Luck!

Hello Everyone,
Our Bunny is a retired show dog, the breeder that had her needed to get her number of dogs down. We found her as a 'rescue' through the regional Pembroke Welsh Corgi Fanciers group three 1/2 years ago. I'm new at all of this and went to my first local AKC meeting last month. This month I'll be able to join the group and help with shows etc.
Bunny has had some health issues (heartworms and torn ACL in her left knee) so she's able to do rally rather than agility. I'm hoping to do agility and rally with our next corgi.
First though, I need to have Bunny help me with obedience training so we can move onto rally training.
Looking forward to chatting with all of you, and learning
Cathi

Introducing Champion C-Myste Baledwr Whomping Willow aka Captain. At just 17 months old and less than a year of showing Captain my Blue Cardigan got his last point towards his Championship. He got it on March 25th at the Kennel Club of Salinas in Vallejo, CA under judge Mr. Del Richards. We are very happy for him and wanted to share the great news. This is my first show dog and I showed him for every single one of his points.
