Kailyn won 3rd place in the Herding group this past weekend at a match in Wilimgton Delaware. There were 12 different breeds of herding dogs in the group so I was very pleased with this result. She is only 3 3/4 months old. I have a few pictures from the show in my pictures.

Hi: I'm new to mycorgi.com. I'm currently training my guy to compete in rally and obedience. I've entered him in the conformation ring, when he was a youngster and would like to try that again. I always wanted a show dog :) Anyway, I thought I'd join because I love to hear about everyone's experiences....

Good job to you and Eddie, the more you show the better I know you'll do. Captain starts puppy class today and I just can't wait.

Brag Spot: This weekend me and Eddie went to the AKC show hosted by the Wisconsin Kennel Club, Inc. On both Saturday and Sunday he got 3rd place in the 12-18 MOS. group. Granted it wasn't a first, but I am still very proud of him and all the positive feedback we received.

I was able to meet up with my breeder last Friday and she had nothing but great things to say about Captain and feels he will finish quickly. She uses a Safari collar and now uses a beaded leather show lead that allows the leash to naturally be loose at the bottom for a great look and places the collar at the right point on the head. Will be looking int0 them but she says the are expensive. But isn't everything expensive when we decide to show our dogs. LOL
