Vicki

Following the fuel prices with interest. Here a litre of Diesel is between £1.39 and £1.46 thats between £6.31 and £6.64 and gallon. Then do a conversion in to dollars, ouch.

Went to the Birmingham CC show last Thursday, as far as we were concerned we needent have bothered. Nine hours travelling. The only good point, if you can call it a good point (because of the nature) we had an enquiry from a lady on one of the dog food promotion stalls. I could see her watching Sue walking Michael into the show, (I had Angel) and her face almost went to tears. I walked over to her and asked why, she said she had just lost her 15 month old corgi to a heart attack recently. I said I would come back out once we were settled.

On my return I found that the corgi had been left in the back garden to play whilst she popped out. On her return he was dead on the lawn. My first thoughts was foul play and asked had he been poisoned, the answer, no. The vet had said heart attack. The lady had already said she was interested in replacing the youngster so she had one of our cards and I have her contact details.

We have our first companion dog show this Sunday raising money for the Haverfordwest Race Course trust charity. Keep posted as on Sunday night I will post some pics from the event. We have a judge from Swansea (formerly in corgi's)

i knew he was getting close. not much longer before he has that CH. in front of his name. so. i put the bottom half of a crate over the bunny hole. after i ran the boys out for their last potty, i went and put a carrot inside the cover. was up at 5am so peeked out the window and the carrot had been moved outside of the cover. have no idea what that means. so, i'm off to the storre later to get some greens for the bunny. i am still assuming she is coming in to care for the babies. and have no fear- the carrot did not go to waste. seems mr. joker enjoys a carrot here and there, which i know is good for him. neighbors thought it was funny when he was sitting out there with the carrot hanging out of his mouth. joker also has discovered that the crate is something new to pee on. i am really working on discouraging them to even go near the crate over the bunny hole. we'll see what happens over the next few days. hey, our gas prices are going down-finally. we were at $4.09 saturday morning and a few stations had gone down to $3.98 while i was on my way home. hopefully it falls a huge bit more. well, that's it. everyone take care.

oh, hey cindy, seeing as your a country person, do you know anything about newborn wild baby bunnies. joker found a bunny nest in the back yard and actually had one of the babies in his mouth. he dropped it and i pulled my cuff down over my hand and picked the little naked thing up and put him back in the bunny hole. what are the chances of mother bunny coming in and taking care of this nest? i am going to somehow cover it tomorrow, probably with a bottom half of a crate, so mom bunny can get in and out and the corgis can't get in. anyone know anything about this problem. and new born baby bunnies are very un-pretty. any advice would be great. thanks
