cindy- i agree with you on your venting. i had that happen with the front leg thing at my very first weekend showing UKC> the judge was concerned because my dogs legs didn't have that little turn out thing going on. i had to tell him that was in cardies. mine is a pemmie. he then admitted he needed to go back and read his standards. but, you see that so much in AKC also, so you can't just put it on UKC. I enjoy my dog's showing in what-ever type show's are available. joker is registered AKC/UKC/IABCA. well, now it look's like AKC is once again going to follow in UKC's footstep's. they are dicussing adding a Reserve Best in Show and also thinking about adding 2 more placement in groups. so, then, there would be group1-6 instead of 1-4. with as small as the marshalltown show was, had this been in effect, there was actually a group where only 6 breeds were represented and now suddenly, the AKC is adding so many new breeds, were have already been reconized by the "OTHER" dog registries. why is this??? maybe more money but still have lack of judge education. i don't remember which show i  was peeking at, but the first dog listed in the novice obedience ring was listed ass a mix breed. in my opinion, AKC, which is suppose to PROMOTE PURE-BRED DOGS, arre getting real frindly with the non-pure-breds. so, this is why i don't live and breath for one registry only. no matter what, you are going to find bad judges, handler judges and those that don't know that cardies aren't suppose to have straight front legs. and thanks for clearing up who max is. nice win for your kennel name also. congrats. when are you getting charlie out again? he must be getting close to only needing his majors soon.and i also think it is Fantastic if a dog is trained for more than one type of competion. i wish max lot's of luck in what-ever venue he is showing. take care

oh boy, one of those 2-legged critters. i hear they make great toys for the 4-legged's. nothing like having a live toy to make a critter's day much better. are we hoping for a boy or girl? do we have names picked out yet?? has daddy-to-be come down out of the clouds?? have you?? congratulations! and yes sandy, i watched get stormy and thought of stormy. hehe!!! yippee! i got my e-mail thing straightened out. now i don't have to type in mycorgi.com everyday. thanks andrea.
