The show we went to today was held in the Equestrian Centre. To see it go on to Google maps and type in BA14 6QT

AVNSC refers to

Any Variety Not Specifically Classified

 

In other words, you don't get enough entries you lump them all together - no good if you have a Swedish Valhund.

You can go to some shows here in Wales and the shows will have four classes for Borders, They had two classes today in Marlborough, England with one entered and that didn't turn up.

it seems entries are low in this country too Stephen:( more so in some areas than others, but in general I believe much lower than in past years, sadly.....  both in pems and cardis.... it is  understnadably very dissappointing.... to travel that far....and be the only  pem or cardi....

what does AVNSC mean? excuse my ignorance  but am not knowledgable in show terms international:(

 and  what does "open show" mean??

so interesting to learn  about shows  in other countries:)

Another BoB for Angel, thats the third in four weeks. This time at the Marlborough Open Show, our first time there.

 

We met a Cardi owner from who had purposfully asked the show secretary to put classes on for the corgis. She asked this as she knew there were owners near to the show.

In reality she was the only Cardi owner there and we, who had travelled 160 miles were the only Pem owners. It can be very disappointing. And of course another year the breed is dropped to AVNSC.

 

We have a show on Thursday, That is the Birmingham Dog Show to be held at the Stafford Agricultural Show ground. Lets hope for more entries. I will let you know next weekend.

oh, by-the-way-----miss cindy. there were NO cardi's this weekend. you just could have walked away with everything. and, fyi, Maidrite was FANTASTIC!!!!! spent a few dollars on merchandise. and the raspberry shake was out of this world

SHOW NEWS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! on saturday, sandy and sammy, aka fortin special effects, picked up her 2nd . AKC point along with her 2nd Best of Breed. sammy looked wonderful and showed like a trooper. anything sandy asked her to do, she did with flying colors. a Huge CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!. then on sunday, joker, aka, SGF court jester, picked up his 2nd AKC point along with his first Best of Breed. so, yes, it's me vicky. i'm at sandy's until tuesday, then heading back up to packer country. jack has been having a blast running loose out in the country and visiting his first love, joker's mother, miss barbie. so, does anyone else have show news?????????? let us know. take care.
