I went to the UKC Show at Peoria on Sunday with Fortin's Windswept Country Boy AKA "Gus".    He was Best of Breed both shows and pulled a group 3rd over German Shepherds so he finished his Ch.   Gus is by Ch SGF Gone Country and is owned by Linda Main in Altona, Illinois, and Windswept kennel.   We had fun and saw some folks I hadn't seen in awhile.   Nice turn out for the shows I think.  8 or so nice Aussies.

Ok, I did it. I entered two days at Grove, OK. I'm only going for Thursday and Friday and I know this sounds like a really lame excuse but the community wide yard sale is the same weekend and normally something like that would not stop me from going to a dog show but from combining two households we have A LOT of stuff that needs to be sold and the best way to sell this much abundance is a yard sale, especially when there's a community wide going on.  I also have people coming to pick up pups from the current litter that weekend so thats a second reason I have to be around for the weekend.  We'll being showing under good ole Arley Hussin and Houston Clark.

Love yr pics & tunnel sabotage :x)  It's time for me to get a new tunnel for my girls, who watched on as friends son rolled down the hill in it.  Sadly could take what three four pawed babies put it through, but not one 7yrs boy :x(

Just a fun pic of Winston. :)

@Vicky: I still haven't heard from Teresa or Sandy. Any suggestions on a place?

@Shelley: I am not planning any shows until probably UKC Ixonia in June, and that is only a maybe--he would still be showing as a NL Puppy. Winston won't be 6 months until July, so I haven't even looked at the AKC calendar, but just off the top of my head it will probably be Waukesha which is going to be at the end of July.

Here he is at 9 weeks. He was still unsure what to do with his back legs so I had to get my mom to help me stack him up (all he wanted to do was sit or play hehehe.
