well was gonna be nail trim day here ..but have managed two dogs and run both dremels out of battery..so guess its gonna be a two day job..maybe will have to ask the  tool guy for a plug in one:) HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA so can do all the dogs same day:(

 the baby is still easy , just pluck off nails with regular fingernail clippers;) the rest... will have to wait for dremels to recharge:(

 sun has come out so we will again go have a somewhat wet but fun romp in open spaces with some of the herd:)

Finally back.  Computer at work wouldn't let me log in and just too much to do to get on the computer at home.

Busy weekend coming up.  Marg is headed to her new home in IL.  Found a great home with a retired CPA.

Getting ready for new chickens-mixed lot of who knows what.  One of those incubator things at a local business-guess what egg hatches first, etc. New chicken house is 5 miles down the road at my brother's so have to move it here.

Then we have a ag day celebration at the bank next weekend-dogs, ducks and chicks get to go!

Alec is swamped with handling clients.  Taking this weekend off, then it's back to showing collies in Dubuque and I got roped into helping and holding in Dewitt with 20 some rough collies to show.  I'm helping groom some of them but eghads!  That's a lotta hair.

Good luck to everyone showing this weekend--we opted out as I am honest that Charlie just isn't ready for a specialty and Pete just doesn't have the head for a specialty judge-love her movement as we got commented last weekend-she can out move anything in the ring, but then that pointy little head.....

just got back from the store. it's been kind of gray here today, but that was it. doesn't feel as warm as they said it was going to be. anyway, walked out of store and it was misting. so glad i put hounds out before i went. boys are upset-didn't bring them anything home from store. the are like little vultures when i walk in the door, noses sniffing on the bags to see if there is anything for them. little piggy's. second day of mall walking tomorrow. went and bought a small bottle so i can make something to drink and bring along. don't like plain water, so i buy like the crystal light or what ever is sugar free. plenty of that stuff here. well, all take care and stay out of the rain.

wind is good!!! rain stopped here temporarily... wind  if you have it will maybe dry things up a bit:(

Will be washing dogs tonight for competition this weekend. It was muddy here too but now it is drying up with the wind blowing so hard.
