Tomorrow is supposed to have worse weather.  I am going to have to go up either Wed after Tim's uncles' funeral or on Mon to look at puppies and get Millie before the West Allis shows.  Then have Chicago shows this next weekend.

I would trade you any day Vicky, we have ice at the moment. It started sometime before 7 a.m. and have been ice and rain and back to ice since then...roads are a mess and my driveway (which has a slight slope) is an ice rink. Neither Bear or Eddie want anything to do with going outside -- which is rare for Bear who will nap in the rain if you let him lol

well, it's here. started snowing around 1:00 pm and already, 2 hours later, the trails in the back yard are filled in, the driveway and sidewalks are full and all the brown grass is covered and then some. how's is everyone else that is getting hit with this doing? joker is going to be real happy- he is my corhusky. he loves snow. now jack and joker will think they need to eat all the new stuff. it is really coming down. checked weather earlier and we had 0.3 visibilty. i know some one who isn't going anywhere. and this is just the beginning. yippeeee!!!!! not!

as far as bloodlines go, i have a thing for schaferhaus. don't ask, but it's there. but, there are so many beautiful lines out there that i guess it isn't really good to get stuck on one or two. i'm always open for something new. i happen to adore the coventry dogs also. i feel they are beautiful examples of our breed along with many others. and with that, i bid you all a fine day

andrea- we didn't enter. i couldn't get a hold of cheryl to see if she was entering so it kind of slipped my mind. sorry. good luck to you guys. i hear you are going to sandy's. have a safe trip. i am debating whether or not i need anything from the store before our expected 8-13 inches of snow hots. it's on it's way. was hitting lacrosse at 8 this morning. yuk!!!!!!!!!!!!!! snow today and tomorrow and then again next weekend.

Vicky, what did you decide for the West Allis show?
Comment by vicky hyde on February 19, 2011 at 6:19pm
well, i don't know about the rest of you guys, but we are getting ready to get another dump of the white stuff. we have had beautiful weather for a few days now they are saying over sunday and monday, we could get any where from 6-12 inches. and to think, i was really enjoying looking at the brown grass that has been hidden for these past few months. joker rediscovered things in the back yard that i think he forgot about. we have some railroad ties along the back fence that he enjoys walking across. but what really made him happy was finding his tree branches that he races around the yard with and enjoys chewing on. the thing that has made jack the happiest, is with the warmer weather, the "squirrels" come out of hiding more often. he knows its his job to keep the yard squirrel and birdie free. he has such a tough job. for an old fart, slightly over-weight(sandy, stop laughing), he can move like a streak of something when he spots intruders in his back yard. so, we are getting ready to bundle up again and i have some ice melt by the back door. we are ready for what ever mother nature dumps on us. all take care.

No kidding... when you look back a the pedigrees of winning dogs over the years, you almost always find a Nebriowa dog in there someplace. We haven't seen Tim for a few months... hope to see him at some upcoming shows.
