 Mike: it is "dash" and his sire and Hank that share all those things that  I love!!!!  and he has just enough of his mom to make him my hero:)))))))))))) hahahahaha so dont mind me while I drool  just a little:)))))))))

I am determined to have a little "hank" one day LOLOL and is a pleasure to watch you guys have so much fun and success with him!!!!

@cindy: yes! the deerhound was spectacular!!!  what a win!!! I thought the sft had it... till he pulled the deerhound!! His handler looked as if she might faint!! LOL

well, Mike  I dont care how many dogs share  Hanks Sire... He is my idol and my Dream" dog !! hee hee and his grand daddy is one of my favorite dogs!!!

 so funny how 3 dogs( that I have seen pics of) with same sire can be so  different to me..

 I  absolutely love Hank and , love his sire,  and the others tho super well bred, dont do a thing for me:)

 I think without seeing, tho I would probably  like  Hanks littermates...  is a lesson for me in how a different dam can influence the "look" of the pups..

they are all winning ,( coventry dogs)  however.. , ( congrats to molly, handler and breeders) 

 But,Hank is such a beautiful animal:))).  ..

 If I lived where you guys live I would probably sit on tim's( mathiesen) doorstep until he had a pup!!! LOLOLOL I am hopelessly drawn to the Nebriowa in  these dogs:)

 so  whats next for the boy after GCH?????

Congratulations to all the winners at WKC!  I must admit that when I found out who took BIS this morning, it was a very pleasant surprise.  At one point we had discussed getting a deerhound as our "big dog" in residence.  And in the event that we are no longer in the loving presence of one of our collies, yes that might be our next addition.  Unless Alec gets his beauceron first :)

The cardigans looked wonderful-the who's who's of those out specialing right now--though a few surprises on who was missing.

I haven't had a chance to look at the video of the pems yet, but again, a nice representation of Bill Shelton's dogs out there.  Many moons ago, I remember following with rapt interest, the career of one little girl named BeBe. 

Got the show fever here with our first time out since, gulp, last fall.  Entries in for a few more shows this spring before we sit our butts at home with puppies again.  At least I hope that's what we are doing!

Hank and Molly share the same sire, CH Woodbine Flashy Alibi "Dash". A number of Coventry dogs share him. In Santa Barbara, CA, last year, 7 of the 12 dogs had Dash as their sire (we think from 4 litters).

 

The sire of Pennant is Maplecreek Back in Black, also co-owned by the Veiks and Bill Shelton & company.

hahah no only that they both placed...Andria..., Mike and Deb  Burke,have a boy Hank with the same sire as "Molly" who took breed... I dont know the familil line between the two coventry dogs entered, I assume there is some link ... to each other...  but I was trying to think which one was of the same sire as Mike and Debbies boy, Hank

 sorry didnt mean to confuse everybody LOL  I am so good at typing you know:) NOT!! HAHAHAHAHAHAH..
