candace, went out to the west burlington show a couple of weeks ago. linda had a youngster entered in 12-18 months. might be the same one. but, either way, good luck and let us know how it goes. take care. oh, sandy told me the news. congrats.

Well we're entered in Amana and glad I called Linda about the faltering numbers across the land.  She has another client that has a puppy dog that needs some experience so she had them enter at the last minute to make sure we had at least 2 and apparently they will be the only 2 dogs.  4 bitches are entered whcih I know could still get points with BW if the judge awarded it but thats cutting it close, especially if a few of them decided not to show up.  I guess that is one of the beauties of using a handler.

hello.. we are trying to build a major in pemmies for the sheboygan, wi. show, sept. 24 & 25. we need 5 males and have 3. anyone else going? judges are: john boozer III and arly hussin. please put the word out if you know of any show pemmies that might be interested. cindy, who are the judges in amana for pemmies? and when is it???

I'm the cluster chair for the Amana shows.  Just had our preshow meeting down there yesterday. 

No, not usually majors in pems.  Though I am open to suggestions on how to increase the counts-judges, supported entries, etc.

Not sure on cardigan majors.  I know a few that won't be coming or can't be counted on to come.  And I have nothing to enter at this point so I'll just be hanging out watching the first two days, then the 2nd two days are our club's portion and I have to be officially in charge and can't show.

 

What I can tell you is that we have some great stuff happening!  CERF clinic on Saturday(still have openings), microchip clinic, herding instinct test, all breed fun match.  Best BBE, Best Puppy and Best Veteran competitions.  Papillion only fun match Sunday.  Many supported entries over the weekend as well as the Amana Beagle Classic, Whippet supported entry, and Cedar Valley Boxer Club specialty.

Should be a great weekend!!!

I am surprised to hear ( tho I have not looked at previous years in amana for pems) that majors not likely:(  for pems..numbers are terrifically hard to find all over.. I am glad to see lake elmo will have majors for both breeds  this year for most of the weekend:) thats a plus.. but for Mr .Wilson  this will be great:)Linda is super.. I am sure she will do well with  Mr Wilson:) I dont know a dog who doesnt love her:) BTW this coat blowing thing..I think they all have it times for the best shows LOLOLOL

I doubt Amana would make a major, it's not ever come close, even with this years adjusted numbers.  Wouldnt be a big deal though since it'd be his first weekend out with Linda.  Wilson tends to be a momma's boy and has to bond with who ever is handling him, I'd rather them be well bonded by the time they get to a major.
