Just reminding everyone that it is the 3rd Saturday, so we'll be at the Shoreline Dog Park in Mountain View, small dog side, at 10 a.m. this Saturday! (if Frodo and I don't show up, then sleep won over corgis - I have a 5k dog walk on early Sunday so might not be up for it!  http://www.towncats.org/event?id=42  Crystal will be walking, as well as my cat, but probably not Frodo  :) 

 

ALSO don't forget that there's a 5th Saturday this month!! So we'll be meeting up the 5th Saturday as well. Halloween costumes!!! :)

For those of you who were at the Mtn.View meet-up this last Sat. Here is a video I took when a lot of the Corgis were playing together in a group. I think Kiki was trying to heard them. She is so silly! :P

Just reminding everyone that it is the 3rd Saturday, so we'll be at the Shoreline Dog Park in Mountain View, small dog side, at 10 a.m. this Saturday! I'll be there with Frodo the Cardigan Welsh Corgi AND Crystal the Cardigan Welsh Corgi (but she will be in and out since she gets a bit over-excited)!  :)  Hope to see you there!

Hi, all! I've joined the Dog Scouts (www.dogscouts.org); they have a local troop that meets at the Humane Society Silicon Valley (www.hssv.org) on the 4th Thursday at 6:30. USUALLY dogs are allowed and encouraged! However, this meeting people should come without their dogs. And this is why!

The cops are coming!

"An officer and his canine partner from Santa Clara Police Department
have been invited to our June 23rd meeting to tell us all about  police dogs, their training (nothing like WE do it!), their backgrounds, they will bring their "ride" so we can see how the dogs are transported (no longer in the back of a sedan with the back seat removed), the equipment they use & many other things. They do presentations like this all the time & he's looking forward to talking to folks who already speak "dog".

"Since the canine officer will be at our meeting the officer has asked that we NOT bring our Scout & Cadets this time. In place of our dogs, please bring family, neighbors & friends as this promises to be a very interesting discussion."

So, I will be there! The meeting will be at 6:30, HSSV (901 Ames Avenue, Milpitas, CA), Classroom B! Anyone interested, please come on by!
