My Dottie was doing good when I wrapped her pill in cheese until she figured that out. Now I use those pill pockets from Greenies, where she also gets her dental chews, and she loves them. It's a bit more expensive, but worth not having any hassle.

We do the same- peanut butter, cheese, wrapped in deli meat, or a mix of food/yogurt- anything that makes it hard for him to pick it out :)

She's super cute by the way : )

Good luck!

I haven't tried either but I will! Thanks!

Debbi,

I know it's obvious but did you try peanutbutter (works best if it is cold then you can stuff the pill inside a little ball of it without it getting gloppy)? Or cheese? What is Daphne's favorite treat?

I need tips for getting my puppy to eat her deworming pill.  I tried to get her to eat half of it today and she kept spitting it out.  Then I tried putting it with her other food but she didn't eat it.  I still have about 2/3 of it left to give her today.

Hello everyone ~

I'm brand new to the site and to this group and I'm looking to meet and become friends with other Corgi lovers. Give me a shout or send a friend request and let's share Corgi stories and pics!!

Do they check if the dogs are micro chipped?  Still searching for our Bear.  He would be 10 years old now and looks a lot like that dog.  Thank you for letting me post.  Corgi Aid has not been very helpful.  Thank you Grace Lakeside,CA

Joan,

Obviously you aren't familiar with Corgis if you think you "own" Shiloh!  Actually, she "owns" you!

But going to your website, I see you raised Corgis. So you already know that trait about these little hamster-legs. Or is that just for tri's?

Too bad, I don't live in Puerto Rico. He could come home with me as I am beginning to start my search for a buddy for Dottie.  Her best friend, Frieda, a terrier, crossed the Rainbow Bridge in November.
