Hey Sam, I have a question. I'm getting my new puppy in Fall..Kind of far, but I still need advice. I already have an older dog in my home who is kind of competitive when it comes to my attention. Shes not usually aggressive. Shes almost always sweet and cuddly. But, how should I handle the new puppy with my older dog?
Well, my dog is usually very good with dogs. She is a little freaked out by smaller dogs sometimes but, she isn't that big herself. I would say she would be about 2 corgis put together. She is about 4 years of age, I believe. She is fixed, and she can be territorial. I don't think she would injure a puppy on purpose, but she can be very playful, and a bit too crazy sometimes. On the most part, she is not too territorial, but she can be. (she can get jealous too) Thanks! :
Hi Sam! I love the site & your pics. I'm originally from Sarasota, FL so the beach pictures made me a little homesick -- my corgi hasn't taken to water yet, but we'll have to try one day.
Thank you for having this web site so all of us corgi lovers can have a place to share stories. Corgis are still number 22 on the AKC site so I would love to see more corgis around the country. Your corgis are so pretty!
Oh Sam thank you so much for sharing that with me. It di make me cry and miss vermont so much just cuz that would be something my friends would do lol and looked like the area we lived in.
Though it was only missing a little corgi romping around with em :) That would have been too much and I would've been in the car hahahaha.
Hi Sam
This is a great site I have heard about it from other lists. Thank you for the welcome. I love the pictures on your page.
Thank you

I think there is a limit, my oldest photos have disappeared. =( i think the limit is 100, cause i had 100 last week, uploaded a bunch this weekend, and it still says 100 as the denominator! and i used that slidescreen and could not pull up my oldest pictures, theyre gone?!?!! maybe im missing something (hopefully!)
ok i think i found it sorry for any ummm scare! turns out i can see all my photos when i go to my photos, its just on the slideshow on my page, other people are only going to see 100 pictures. i guess the slideshow device has a limit. Thanks!!
Thanks for the welcome! I love seeing the pictures of your dogs. I recognize traits in them that my dog has and it's really exciting to be able to read about her behavior even though she is a mix. She really does identify with Corgis so much!
Thank you! This is a new experience for us both! Daisy is just the cutest thing, though. I just saw pictures of corgis online and new that was the dog for me!
Sam - I've been on the site a couple of months now and I love it! The members on here are so helpful and I've learned a lot to help me be the best corgi parent I can be. Keep up the good work!
Hey Sam! Just under a week... phew. I can't wait. We've been taking Oakley to the park every day. She seems to really enjoy it, but it's SO hard to take her back. She doesn't seem to mind going back so I'm sure it's more of an issue for me than her. The cat... she seems to be in heaven there. There's no Oakley around to harrass her there :D. Thanks for your concern!
