Just found out we get to pick up our little girl tomorrow morning. Now we just need to find her a name. Our cat is named Calypso, and out last corgi was Tiki. I would like something to go with either of these. I thinking Kona or Maya. I also like Zoe or Santini. Does any one have and thoughts or suggestions? Well the time has come. We just started looking for a new puppy. I can't wait until we get another furry baby in the house.

It's getting close to a month now since Tiki crossed the rainbow bridge. I thought I was doing good. I could talk about him with out breaking down and today, I received a piece of mail that brought me to tears again. Tiki's local vet made a memorial donation in his name to the College of Veterinary Medicine, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. I had no clue that our vet would do something like this. This is the last thing I wanted to post today. Thank you everyone for all the support and prayers and virtual hugs Gary, Tiki and I received this past month. We made the decision at 4:00 this morning to put him down today. He was in pain and we knew it. The new meds didn't work, and the old meds were even worse. So at 10:30 this morning our brave little Tiki boy ventured out to the rainbow bridge. It was a hard road for us, and we did everything we could for him. Rest in peace little man. Mommy… Continue

Well this morning I contacted the vet and they changed up some meds. We took him off the Piroxicam since it was making thing worse. We are waiting at least until Thursday to start back up on the Deramaxx. The ups and down of this cancer is an emotional roller coaster. I found some shirts online at cancersucks.com that I plan on buying. I also lost my father-in-law and my husbands Grandma to cancer last year with in a two month period so now I really have a reason to own one of these shirts.… Continue
